Did he hint as to why last night more tips came in? tia
No, just stated that they did. Perhaps, with the weekend, people are talking about it and generating thoughts/memories/courage.

I can't for the life of me link to Twitter, but Henry Graff (NBC29) is reporting that after a slow-down in tips, over 200 came in last night.
That is my guess as well, or else people just out and about hiking or enjoying nature on the weekend.Maybe the tips were from hunters?
There are some places that won't get them because they cater to clientale that do not want them. Not necessarily for nefarious reasons either. There are some get togethers that one does not want filmed for a number of reasons. I don't like cameras personally, even though I can see the usefulness of them. I feel that they are a step too far in the invasion of privacy. But I think that point as long been past, and they will be just about everywhere in the near future. The days of "Enemy of the Stae" have arrived.

Property owner out horse riding, saw birds hovering & allowed searchers to ride on property in Keswick. #hannahgraham
I have a friend who owns a convenience store. He has cameras all over that produce a sharp image.
Some kids broke in one night and they were busted because of the excellent quality of the pictures.
Businesses should all look into better cameras
His pictures are on disks and he keeps them forever,
I wonder if any businesses there have such quality of cameras
It's strange how so many of JM's friends remark that he was like "Lenny" in John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men."
What I found interesting is the name JM gave the police in TX--George Carr. We all know Carr is his grandmother's last name. In "Of Mice and Men" Lenny's friend's name is George. Maybe it's a stretch--but perhaps JM read it and thought a lot about how he had a lot of people fooled. He wasn't nearly as much like Lenny as he'd have everyone believe. Maybe in his mind, he more identified with the character of George. JMO
I didn't realize JM has a history of rage when victims use their phones! Can you give me some place to read about that?
thanksNo, just stated that they did. Perhaps, with the weekend, people are talking about it and generating thoughts/memories/courage.
In some cases, businesses probably look at the camera itself as being a deterrent to crime (the visibility of the camera to those in the store) as opposed to what is actually being recorded. I agree with you that the quality of some of the video/pictures is horrendous! JMOfollowing cases I am repeatedly shocked at how poor the security videos and pictures that come out are. Some of them are so poor that I think whats even the point of having it.
although the photographer in me does think one issue is a lot of these are just catching things on the periphery of the view and the cameras are probably focused (i mean focus in the technical way) on the foreground so maybe that explains some of it but still.
A few days ago I did see a picture on Parker's site of a box type truck with a dive flag on it, parked along the side of a road with a bridge, and the poster said it was LE, so I'm assuming they are.I keep coming here hoping that Hannah will have been found, hoping that today is the day. I wonder with all of the searching that has been going on, where else could she be? Does anyone know if they have checked lakes or rivers?
per bessies request about JM flying into a rage.
