Just found this out and thought others may find it interesting and may want to help out.

Working Drones Australia is a commercial drones operator who has been involved in multiple missing persons searches in the last few years.
Visiting this website you have access to their aerial images for several missing persons cases in Australia they have been involved in.

There is also a brief instructional video to explain how to do it HERE

I think initially it was meant for the case of James Hunter, but I've been looking through the images related to other cases too and the process is exactly the same.

This looks interesting, many here participated in a similar type of searching via Tomnod.
Thread for the first referenced MP...
Posting also in the International forum for greater exposure..

Years ago there was a plane missing, I actually forget where but images of the likely area were released to the public and it ended up with someone spotting the wreckage on the side of a mountain.

I spent days and nights trying to find that plane. I'm sure there are a lot of eyes that would like to have a go at something like this.

Thanks @dotr , good idea.

I think it must have been the Steve Fossett Google Image Search that I remember taking part in and the part about someone finding the plane wreckage image on that search, must have been some other image search case.

@sasha17 :) @TootsieFootsie :)
Thx for your posts about Google Image searches for Steve Fossett & plane, prompting me to want to read more.

A few pages here starting at the section on "Disappearance and search" describe a bit about the Google, Inc.'s connection.
And of course, footnotes w links give more info to details, if anyone is interested.

Back to the OP, amazing to think about drones can participate in SAR and bring people (or remains) home.
