Last I saw they were talking to him and he swam away.
I have seen many articles and videos of them working their butts off. Maybe some channels aren't covering it for some strange reason, and are just covering the private citizens who are helping along with just showing the reporters in the area. But they certainly are there and all a very active and many have been from the very beginning. I saw 7 huge H-60 Navy helicopters who are there rescuing many of those who are stranded.
Does anyone know if Cypress is flooded? It's in the northwest part of the Houston area.
Trust me, the Coast Guard and Navy helicopters are still quite active. I live in the area and I have been hearing them fly overhead for days.

Army Col. Robert Manning updated the media on DoD response efforts to Hurricane Harvey..As of now, all Guard personnel providing assistance are on Title 32, or state orders. Active-duty units are en route to the staging area in anticipation of a possible request. There has been no formal tasking [yet] of Title 10 DoD units, the colonel added.
Army Col. Rob Manning,*a Pentagon spokesman, described the Defense Departments response, noting at a briefing Monday that those units on active duty headed toward the region have yet to be called upon to assist, but were staging ahead of any official request.
