they could but I'm mostly thinking that if they drove around for that long looking, wouldn't it stand to reason that they would have passed some surveillance camera, somewhere in town at some point?

Hi ya'll. I don't post much on this thread but do read it whenever I have the chance. I think ya'll are doing a great job following this case. From the little I have read which is not as much as most of you, I keep coming back to the closeness in time of this disappearance and Lyric's father's upcoming drug charges being decided in court. I tend to think about things using the one that has the least amount of variables. In my opinion, I think the disappearance is related to the court stuff.

What I am saying is, Lizzie wasn't just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Only one child would have been taken. Lizzie is the odd one out here. If Lizzie had been taken and Lyric left, fair enough, Lizzie is smaller and more portable. If Lyric had been taken and Lizzie left, fair enough, Lyric is more "developed" and could appeal more to a predator, or vice versa.

What is glaring for me is they BOTH were taken. I feel that Lizzie was taken to get at her parents, for whatever reason...revenge, payment of a debt, leverage.

Timeline issues that bug me no end.

What if leaving the house by kids at 11:30 is not accurate? What if later.
What if WC leaving the house at 12:30 is not accurate? What if earlier...stuff like that

Seems odd to do everything at exactly "on the half hour" (11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30).... The 12:27 and 12:11 and 3:58 times seem more "natural".

Don’t forget about Mr. C’s reported sighting of Elizabeth and Lyric between 12 and 1pm. In the video (link below) it seems as if he’s about to state he saw the two girls ride by his house (Lake Avenue @ Gilbert) between 12 and 1pm but is prompted and says the sighting was between 12 and 3pm.

What are the chances it's not the girl's riding the bikes and others had knowledge of the camera(s) to use in a ruse for time? imo

I had considered the possibility of it not being the girls on the bikes.... but not that someone would have knowledge of the camera and use it for a time ruse........definitely possible......but I'm leaning toward they did make it to the lake. I am interested in the vehicles seen after the bikes passed.

Also, I do think that Elizabeth and Lyric are the kids in those 2 families that were the most likely targets. They were just old enough to venture out on their own, away from constant supervision. The younger kids were stuck inside with Grandma. The older kids were too big/strong to abduct (Dillin).

This is pure speculation because the answers to these very good questions are not known.

MCM and Lyric had been living with MCM's mom WC in Waterloo for a bit. This, I believe, is because of MCM and DM's separation and marital troubles. She and Lyric reside in WC's home in Waterloo and DM resides in his own mother's home in Waterloo as well.

TB also resides in Waterloo I think. We know that 4 days prior to the abduction Lyric and a cousin TB's daughter (reportedly 11) played together in Waterloo.

H and D Collins, Elizabeth's parents reside in Evansdale where the abduction took place.


MOO - no links no facts. Lyric played around the neighborhood in Waterloo with various adults supervising from day to day. Sometimes gramma, sometimes mom, sometimes Aunt T. I also believe that she may have accompanied her gramma to Aunt H's house in Evansdale on occasion when gramma was driving over there to assist H.

So my real question here is, who knew Misty was not going to be around all day all of a sudden? Did Lyric hereself think she had more freedom? Did someone know the kids would be unsupervised?

YES!!! That is what I wanted to hear! Thanks, Jules. I guess LE already knows whether someone is lying about when they left to go look. Maybe that is their evidence. I also now suspect that they released the clearer, more zoomed out version of the video ON PURPOSE. They have released NOTHING in this case -- why only this video? And they tried to say it was from the neighboring business/a different video to explain the release. I think they were trying to show somebody that they had a clear view of the driveway.

Maybe it's just me, but since he lives at least 7 miles away, I find it odd he wouldn't have called or driven over to report his findings. He waited and biked over. ???? Not saying he was involved, but I still hope LE checked his vehicle and home...especially if the their timeline doesn't jive with his. JMO Make me start thinking he doesn't want LE to come to his house or see his auto.

I suppose, but if he's riding that trail every day anyway, why not just plan to be there. IIRC, he didn't put two and two together until the next day. For all I know, he was actually riding again the next day and came upon the searchers, before he'd heard the girls were missing.

I remember seeing a post on FB that was along the lines of "did anyone see anything." This was VERY early, like Fri night/Sat morning. His daughter eventually commented on that post, saying her dad had mentioned seeing bikes on his ride the day before, and she would get in touch with him. Later, he commented on the same post, confirming. That is where the time of 12:27 appeared, IIRC, and he has been adamant about it since. He has not, afaik, been elusive or suspicious, but forthcoming as soon as was possible. I really think, when that post was made or commented on, that most ppl assumed the girls would be found in or near the lake. It wasn't until later Saturday, after they'd had time to drag it, that the search really heightened. I'm not saying TG isn't to be ruled out completely, but I've seen nothing, in his past, in his relationships, in what others say about him, in what LE has said, to lead me to believe he is anything other than a concerned citizen. JMO.

About zero IMO.

There were no other cyclists on the street that day...just our girls.

Girls biking on camera...And MAYBE a vehicle "searching" for them (not made public). MAYBE that vehicle picked them up, quickly discarded the bikes at the lake (reason they were reported to be "laying" on the bikepath and no mention of seeing the purse at this time). Then MAYBE had 1-2 hours to take the girls to a pre-arranged wherever or whoever. Then MAYBE return to the bikes and stage them against the fence and place the purse there to make it look more believable that they had gone in the lake. Then MAYBE that person returned to "search" for the girls since "they would never go to the lake", thus having an alibi for why the person may have been seen there or have evidence, scents, etc that the person was there.

MAYBE the girls never made it to the lake...but their bikes did.

MAYBE...things didn't work out as orignally planned or things changed for some reason.

Who knew Heather wasn't going to be around taking care of Lizzie?

I remember there being some comment made by LE in regards to tests on Caine, Desiree, and Tony after poly's were administered during the first few days of the Kyron Horman investigation. Has there been any discussion or comments from LE about the polys taken by friends and family of Lyric and Elizabeth ? Can an arrest be made solely based on the results of a poly ?

I guess that in the absence of a statement by by LE to the contrary, we are to assume that no deception was indicated in the results of polygraph exams administered during the course of this investigation.

Something struck me about the picture of the guy riding his bike and stopping to speak with LE. I am not sure where they are on the trail in this pic, but the gentleman riding it looks like he literally just jumped out of the shower. His clothing is unwrinkled, he isn't sweating (that I could see), and for riding through what is reportedly a not so nice, landscaped area, he and his bike look to be very clean.
