Is this her only brother?

I don't know, how would you normally figure out who was related to who via public record over there?

Local gossip can be handy for things like this, although not always 100% accurate. :moo:

I really think it could have been some sort of set up to get the authorities in the home. I don't know how, but I just think it was. I hope there is some evidense there. jmo

Has it been reported in MSM that the two ODs happened at his home? I don't think they said where it happened, I could be wrong.

Local gossip has the FBI taking bags of evidence from the home, also that it was attempted suicide involving several types of drug. Unconfirmed yet of course.

Does anyone know what the address is?

XXXX Vine St
Waterloo, IA 50703

I edited my post to remove the address numbers, just in case I violated a rule, or someone's privacy.

Nothing new on the body in the lake, totally unrelated I'm sure. Forgive me if this has already been posted (I can't seem to keep up with all of you!) but I thought this was interesting: http://www.kcci.com/news/central-io...wns/-/9357080/15734798/-/bytuv1z/-/index.html

You know there are always reports of these people going around and acting very suspiciously with young children, especially in the summer when they are out of school and just hanging around, but is it particularily bad this summer or are we just more aware of the reports because of Lyric and Elizabeth's disappearance?

With all of the crazy going on around the family as a distraction, it is definitely in the realm of possibility that those girls met up with someone just like the perps described in the articles and didn't have a chance to get away. :(

MOO

This sounds very interesting. It could either be just another family member who is into drugs.Or it could the break in the case...hoping it's the latter.... JMO

In all the cases I've followed, I've never seen such numerous reports of attempted abductions as I have with this one. It's certainly alarming and, I hope, extremely out of the ordinary.

This is getting all too weird.
I think the poster intimated that perhaps someone gave them some bad drugs on purpose? That was my take on it.
I don't think so...this is about something else...guilty knowledge? Who knows...

That was not what I was referring to in my post. I was thinking that maybe one person went along with the plan (suicide), but didn't follow through. Maybe on purpose so that the authorities would get involved. It was just a thought.

Agreed...I think it's a combination of both. I'm so much more aware these past 2 weeks, unfortunately. I think it's more prevalent in the news as well. I'm only a mama to cats right now, but this makes me grateful for the little bubble i live in :( Praying for these sweet, innocent girls.

At first I touught MSM might be witholding her name until her family could be contacted, but now I'm wondering if there could be some other reason. She is an adult, isn't she?

Oh sorry, misinterpreted you.

has this been posted?

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Authorities have served a subpoena asking an Iowa-based NBC affiliate to turn over footage of its interviews with one of the mothers and grandmother of two missing cousins, saying they may contain clues about the girls’ abduction.

Waterloo-based KWWL-TV announced Wednesday night that it received the subpoena seeking “raw video” of interviews conducted last week with Misty Morrissey and Wylma Cook, and made the document public on its website.
