Ethan has a Grateful Dead tattoo according to his Charleyproject page. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kazmerzak_ethan.html
...Kazmerzak was seen in several area pubs on Sept. 14, including Pit Row and the Red Moose in Hampton as well as Ducks in Aredale. He was reportedly last seen at a party at a gravel pit pond located behind a house in the 1400 block of 190th Street. Police say his cell phone was last used at about 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 15 at the intersection of 190th Street and Olive Avenue and his ATM card has reportedly not been used since Sept. 14.
...To try to explain to you what weve been through this past year is impossible, said Hemmes. Thats why were up here begging anyone who knows anything to please call and give them some kind of information, because a years a long time. We really need closure with this.
...She said, Oh, April. We need to bring our boy home, Hemmes recalled. She said, Hes our boy, hes my boy, hes this towns boy, hes this towns son. Hes our son and everyone who knows you and cares about you wants to help him come home.
Law enforcement officials urge anyone with information regarding Kazmerzaks disappearance to call the Hampton Police Department at (641) 456-2529 or North Iowa Crime Stoppers at (800) 383-0088. Kazmerzak was described by authorities as being about 5 5 tall, 185 pounds, with blond hair and a reddish-colored beard. He wears thick, black-rimmed glasses.
Hampton Police Chief Robert Schaefer said his department has reached out to Freeborn deputies to see if the remains could be that of Ethan Kazmerzak
Kazmerzak, 22, was last seen Sept. 15, 2013, in Hampton.
Officials aren't sure if could be Kazmerzak, because the initial description of the remains doesn't quite match with the missing Hampton man, Schaefer said.
"You kind of have some hopes that it is (Kazmerzak), but they're kind of thinking this person might be a little bit taller than our person is, so we're not sure," Schaefer said.
HAMPTON, IOWA – Today, September 15, 2015 will mark two years that local Hampton man Ethan Kazmerzak went missing, Hampton Chief of Police Robert Schaefer reminded.
According to Chief Schaefer, local law enforcement authorities have followed up on a few leads with no results.

In the Hampton Chronicle FB comments here, one post asks if searchers ever checked the 2 pits off Olive & 190th since there is a driving path right into it and they are so close to last phone ping:
Hampton Chronicle
The HC answers no, LE only checked the pit behind the home (as shown on tarabull's map above). Can any locals advise if LE did decide to check those since that 2013 answer was posted? I can't find anything besides LE asking property owners to check their own properties to see if anything suspicious.
MOO I think this can be solved.

It has been five years since a Hampton man went missing.
Now there's a renewed push to find Ethan Kazmerzak. He was 27 years old when he disappeared on September 15th, 2013.
I'm telling you, this young man is not missing. It is simply that no one for whatever reason does what is necessary to recover his car and remains in the car, located in one of the ponds shown above.Agree, this one should have been solved. Ethan's remains are very likely in his car, submerged in one of the ponds where his phone last pinged at 190th and Olive, per below...
I can't believe the authorities have failed to find the vehicle. Gotta be in one of the 11 ponds in this image, all right at 190th & Olive:
I'll be shocked if it is eventually found elsewhere. You'd think someone could drag magnets from a boat and get this case closed.
