I'm a runner my self and I do want to say that theres times my GPS on my phone pings and it's not on my route. If there's cloud cover very or a storm sometimes my app has me running in a different location. Granted the farm would be a huge distance for her device to ping wrong. Just a thought

How long does it take to get results from a test? What type of restrictions, if any, can LE put on someone who is not a POI as far as traveling?

The results are instant. They happen as the test is occurring. But they are interpreted. Do the lines spike on the graph at certain questions when compared with baseline questions?

Typically they confront the person with test results immediately following the exam. "The test showed you were deceptive. You need to come clean."

The tests are an interrogation tool meant to see how people react and what they say under pressure. That's pretty much it.

They can't place travel restrictions on any POI or suspect.

This is true. They are often given to family members early on to clear them.

I think that makes very good sense. Eliminate, eliminate, eliminate. There sure is way too much ground to cover. Geez.

I agree completely, having had extensive LE experience. When I view a LE related tv show or movie, I critique how realistic the investigation is. The Real World is not what you see on tv. Tv is for entertainment. They have 60 minutes to solve the crime and they usually do.
TOO BAD THAT IS NOT THE REAL WORLD.

My husband is retired LE and he gets angry watching those types of shows. He complains so much that I never turn them on anymore. He thinks they make the general public think any LE who can’t immediately solve a crime is inept and LE is already fighting to improve their community relations. They don’t need the added criticism.

Unfortunately, this is what happened -- again.

Could it be as 'simple' as a hit and run and then panic? If it were darker than we originally had thought maybe someone just didn't see her and then took her to cover up the evidence? Might be easier to do this in a location that is not as central to downtown vs some of the prior theories? Pure conjecture though at this point.

That is not a very good GPS. I would return it.

Yes, but I can turn off my phone and leave it at home if I want to ( and yes I have done this) that's a lot harder to do when the device is implanted in my body.

I just ignore the ads...lol. But yes, I know it's a huge privacy issue and was just playing devil's advocate.

Does anyone know how long it takes to drain one of those typical bogs found on those farms?

A prior thread had some information on the process and estimated timing. If the bog was associated with the pig farm it most likely is considered hazardous waste and as such would take more time as a loction to remove the waste to would have to be found and possibly approved by the state. If the bog is not considered hazardous waste then it would most likely just be a matter of finding high speed pumps to remove the water.

Many times people get caught up on little details in media . From experience I know the media makes a ton of reporting mistakes in most articles. Don’t get bogged down on khaki vs black. As far as the burglary and many other what ifs... I’m confident LE and agencies have gone above and beyond working on every scenario possible. Until more is released it’s like chasing ones own tail. In this case there is not enough information released to understand what happened. A timeline would be great!

WC property was the first searched as Fitbit recorded data not the actual Fitbit band was the last place Mollie had been before missing no more data recorded after.
