WHAT WE KNOW​

1. Mollie’s jogging clothing is missing – pink sports bra, black shorts & running shoes
2. Mollie’s devices are missing – cell phone, armband, FitBit and white earbuds
3. She has about 3 different routes and likes to mix them up
4. The dogs were in the basement
5. DJ said the door was probably unlocked
6. She typically picks up the car at her mom's house before dark
7. She went for a run about 7:30
8. She usually runs for 45 minutes
9. LE reconstructed her run, relying on Fitbit data, cell phone pings and eyewitnesses
10. A digital signal led police to the Guernsey farm area
11. Video footage was collected from various businesses, including Casey’s & D&M
12. Mollie's mom was asked by FBI if Mollie was "in a home" at 9:45
13. She may have done homework (time unknown & unconfirmed)
14. Snapchat appeared to be indoors & taken that day, viewed at 10PM
15. Mollie was a creature of habit
16. DJ sent her a text in the morning and she did not respond
17. JT sent her at text approx. 7:30 am asking if she needed the car – no response
18. There were no vehicles in the driveway (as there usually would be)
19. Her driver's license, passport and debit card were at the house
20. Usual evening routine: run, shower/eat or eat/shower, homework, bed
21. No signs of a struggle or forced entry

Reported Sightings

• NH, 7:30 pm - W Pershing Dr
• RT, time unknown - W. Des Moines – walking east, would have to go N or S
• DR, 8 pm - East 2nd Street - jogging west toward Casey’s

DC, time unknown, West St - told by LE (not an actual sighting) that MT jogged past his house and made it home

FBI poster indicates that Mollie was last seen running on Pershing Drive.

I keep forgetting to add to my posts that I don't believe his story about the earbuds either. He had to back up his story as to what prompted him to look in the trunk.

Gets out of car and runs near/behind her
Mollie says go away I'm going to call the phone
Mollie runs away
CR chases her
*Blackout period*
CR is at an intersection and notices one earbud on his lap
Gets out of car checks trunk to find Mollie with blood on the side of her head and the other earbud
Takes her out of trunk and drags her, then picks her up.
Places her in cornfield and covers her with corn stalks
Leaves

COD is multiple sharp force injuries.

Obviously this is all CR version and who knows whats true about it and whats not, but I guess a couple things here I am wondering:

Do we believe CR is withholding facts or did he tell LE more and they are just withholding that information until the trial?

What is the defense lawyer of CR trying to accomplish here? I notice in all of this story its never said that CR attacked her or killed her. Did he actually admit to "killing" her, because I don't see those words anywhere. Which makes me wonder as you just stated if he did have an accomplice.

Yes that never rang true to me either about the earbuds,,,that is why I think he whipped her into the car and not the trunk. I am just so not believing anything from him.

JMO - The location CR left MT does not appear random. Last night there was mention of cornfield pull-offs being being used by local kids as party spots. I discovered that one of the landowners very near that location had kids attending BMG high school at the same time as IM and her older sister. IMO, with classmates living in the immediate vicinity, that location makes perfect sense as a party spot, and if so, CR very well could have been there while dating IM. And now, the landowner's kids, as well as the ones who might have partied there, are all in their 20s and likely the spot's no longer used. Just a thought.

Not for a minute do I personally believe he "blacked out". I think when the did was done he considered with his roomies and the plan was hatched to say DUH I blacked out!!!! I remember nothing!!!!! I remember before and after and know where the body is but sorry that's it. Blacking out is a very easy thing to say. JMO

At some point during the attack or loading her into the car the earbud probably fell to the ground. He picked it up to not leave any trace of what he had done and carried it to the car in his hand. I believe this is the simplest explanation concerning that.

5 weeks is a lot of time, he's thinking about it 24/7; he might even put pen to paper to plot out what he was going to say (done some research).

It explains his calmness when confronted by LE.

He had over a month correct. And I am not sure not knowing him of course if he was smart enough to figure a plan out himself which makes me think yes he might have an accomplice to devise a plan in that 5 week span should something come up. Like the camera, without it he would still be milking cows and collecting a paycheck under someone elses SS#.
