You may be right. I was unaware that it had a police escort, which actually makes perfect sense.

That’s my thought too, would they be making a second stop to pick up another car with a police escort along?

Mum reported 2 shirts found at her home. And that's a 232...

Also, Dr. S respectfully requests that y'all stop flogging his maybe dead red shirted cat, over this red shirt issue. Leave the red shirt alone, as this is not an episode of Star Trek!

There was another mention in his statement too:
"He went to get her out of the trunk and he noticed blood on the side of her head. The Defendant Rivera described the female's clothing, that she was wearing including an ear phone or head phone set."

Edited to add more detail from affidavit
Maybe that's what I am thinking of.

Yes, I meant to point this out, but got side-tracked. I have cousins that live only one county away from HB, so I followed that one closely. Along with Brittanee Drexel and Mickey Schunick, Holly hit me the hardest, for some reason, and now this one is right up there with them.

She was young, and had her whole life in front of her, just like MT. HB was in pre-nursing. So, yeah!

Bring my post over from the other thread to expand on it:

If this statement is true, it makes me believe that she was indeed wearing cordless/wireless earbuds. If he had one piece of the earbud in his lap and the other she was still wearing while in the trunk, then he mostly likely didn't strangle her with them or in the initial attack there wasn't much of struggle. Maybe he knocked her out or incapacitated her quickly and put her in the trunk.

Fortunately, people realize today what is child abuse and the trauma it causes, sometimes for generations.

There are new studies that examine the trauma that is passed down via the DNA of affected people.

Yeah, Epigenetics. That was Science Fiction when I took Freshman Biology 40 years ago!

Yes, I dont think strangling would have been a possibility. But I do believe they may have been broken in the attack. By the way, how do you bring a post over to a new thread? I have wanted to ask that for awhile now.

If they had been broken, why/ how could she still be wearing the other half? I don't think he would put the broken piece back on her and I also don't think she could still be wearing half it if he ripped part of it off. JMO though.

I just copied and pasted my post :) I think you can also click on quote and then copy and past the entire message from the old thread reply box into the new reply box :D

Iirc the earbuds were indeed wireless.

I don't think it was in the middle of a cornfield that she was abducted, rather that is where he took her. It did actually originate in the " streets", only in an isolated spot.
If she was abducted way out on 385th near that “S” curve that would considered a rural road. Part or the rural carrier’s mail route, not the city streets. I’m just absolutely at a loss to understand why she was running rurally so close to dusk anyway.

My response to that is she felt safe in her surroundings. She had done it many times and did not feel unsafe, the only thing I can think of.

Yes, you're right, she was known to wear wireless. A few threads ago when we were discussing the earbud in his lap, we wondered if they were cordless or not, some wireless have a cord that connects one earbud to the other. A few people theorized that he might have strangled her with the earphones and that's how they broke and ended up in his lap. I don't think that however, jmoo :)

I was just sitting here thinking about the head injury. Does anyone think it's possible that when he was trying to place her in the trunk she tried to sit up and he slammed it shut on her head?
I will not even pretend to have read all these threads, so I don't know if this has been suggested or not.
