Serbian suspect held over murder of Rolls-Royce designer in Germany

A 22-year-old man is held in France over the killing in Germany of a man named locally as Ian Cameron.

Ian Cameron, 74, was reportedly attacked last Friday night at his home in Herrsching, south-west of Munich. His wife fled to a neighbour's house and raised the alarm.

Police later released an image of the suspect taken in a local supermarket before the killing. They said the man had been in the Herrsching area for several hours.

Verena Kloos managed to get to their neighbour's house and phone the police.

Mr Cameron was a vintage car expert who retired from Rolls-Royce in 2013.

This was after 20 years at the firm, working on the design of cars such as the 3 Series, Z8, Phantom, and Ghost
