Every time I went to visit her, she was at somebody's house. Then, when we were living on Hamilton Street, she started writing notes, and I don't know who she was writing notes to.

"Judy's sister, Laura Theriot, says the last time she saw her sister was the day she disappeared on August 2, 1986.![]()
Louisiana Man Still Trying to Find His Mother after 40 Years
Imagine you are a little child, and your mother is never seen again. That is the reality that a New Iberia man has to live with each day.973thedawg.com
Theriot says Judy had come over to drink coffee with her, but that was not all. Judy spent time telling Laura that she wasn't happy. Judy says she was not being treated well by her husband Eric Rickard, and that she wanted to leave.
It was later on that Judy went to pick up that prescription for their mother at the Hospital Pharmacy Druge Store on North Main Street. That was the last day anyone saw her. The pharmacist at the time told officials Judy was seen getting into a green car.''

Were any of the “notes” that Judy wrote ever found? Could it have been a diary by chance? Wondering what Judy’s ex-husband mean by “she started writing notes”Thank ya'll so much for getting this out there! I am actually the genealogist mentioned in those above articles. “So we did the DNA test just to show the people that this is not the same woman. Just so he could place himself in the tree and get to know her more, and when we did that— with just the new information that was popping up threw some red flags out,” Dunn said.''
Actually no… Judy could not read or write beyond a very basic elementary level. She started but never finished the 7th grade according to her two living sisters. Were any of the “notes” that Judy wrote ever found? Could it have been a diary by chance? Wondering what Judy’s ex-husband mean by “she started writing notes”
That was in reference to Judy being compared to the Jane Doe found in Lake Ponchartrain. What does this mean? Who isn’t the same woman? What red flags might be found through genealogical research?
So was his father not her husband? Would that mean that the father of her son was a family member? If so, does that mean that person might be a POI to keep her quiet? That was in reference to Judy being compared to the Jane Doe found in Lake Ponchartrain.
The red flags were that many of her son’s biological relatives were still blood related but didn’t match the relationship he had always thought. For example, he has a 1st cousin that is also his step sister and many more. So the snapshot of his family tree isn’t as it appears.
Her husband is the biological father of her son. There were just several other “branches” in their family tree that crossed that we didn’t expect. So was his father not her husband? Would that mean that the father of her son was a family member? If so, does that mean that person might be a POI to keep her quiet?
Here are a few examples…Her husband is the biological father of her son. There were just several other “branches” in their family tree that crossed that we didn’t expect.
Ahhhh. Okay, I get it now. I have a little of that on my one side of the family tree. Thanks for the clarification! Here are a few examples…
Years after she disappeared, Judy’s husband married the mother of Judy’s sister-in-law, Bernadine. This marriage would be his third marriage. Her name was Delores. Delores also had a daughter named Nicole with a man name Pierre from before Judy went missing. Pierre is the husband of Judy’s oldest sister Mary Ann. Before you ask, Yes, Mary Ann and Pierre were married at the time she was conceived.
But wait there’s more! Bernadine was married to Judy’s only brother, Joe. Bernadine has 8 children. None were Joe’s biological children. One on these children was said to be conceived with Pierre.
