But they scheduled the cleaning of the crime scene Friday. I am curious about the details of who and how they came to the decision to clean the crime scene, and who got a court order to stop it.

It is my completely amateur opinion that this could have been a ruse, possibly to distract local media or something. Pure speculation.

STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Idaho suspect Bryan Christopher Kohberger is on his way to Moscow to face charges for the murders of four University of Idaho students, a source told Fox News.

Kohberger, 28, left Monroe County Prison in Pennsylvania, according to Warden Garry Haidle. "He is no longer in my custody," Haidle said. "He is in the custody of the Pennsylvania State Police."
people can track it on flight radar if they want. According to earlier links on this thread, he left Monroe Jail at 6am, their time. ( IDK nearest airport or airfield to Monroe)
or on ADBS exchange

Highway arrests can be quite dangerous. What if he went on a high speed chase or was armed? They also may have needed an actual sample of his DNA from his parents trash before arresting him. (They needed a one to one match) They may have had familial DNA, which is not adequate for probable cause.

If they knew who is he, they knew where his parents live and obtain their DNA regardless if BK was at at addeess or was not. Besides, they do not need DNA from BOTH parents, just from one of them as we inherit DNA from both of our parents. Meaning, that even whilst his father was away, his mother could have been that source of DNA. They took their trash bags and checked for DNA traces, supposedly.

*possible* CTE is what was being discussed
University of Texas sniper Charles Whitman, who killed multiple people during a mass murder event in 1966, was diagnosed with astrocytoma post-mortem. The Connally Commission investigating the shooting concluded the tumor conceivably could have contributed to his inability to control his emotions and actions.

To this day experts disagree as to what extent the brain tumor played in his actions. One thing that is widely agreed upon, the aggressive tumor would have killed him, likely before he even faced trial. He requested an autopsy be performed in his suiside note.

Sunday July 31, 1966
I don’t quite understand what it is that compels me to type this letter. Perhaps it is to leave some vague reason for the actions I have recently performed. I don’t really understand myself these days. I am supposed to be an average reasonable and intelligent young man. However, lately (I can’t recall when it started) I have been a victim of many unusual and irrational thoughts. These thoughts constantly recur, and it requires tremendous mental effort to concentrate on useful and progressive tasks. In March when my parents made a physical break I noticed a great deal of stress. I consulted a Dr. Cochrum at the University Health Center and asked him to recommend someone that I could consult with about some psychiatric disorders I felt I had. I talked with a Doctor once for about two hours and tried to convey to him my fears that I felt come overwhelming violent impulses. After one season I never saw the Doctor again, and since then I have been fighting my mental turmoil alone, and seemingly to no avail. After my death I wish that an autopsy would be performed on me to see if there is any visible physical disorder.

I'm going to get roasted for this but I don't think he looks weird or crazy at all. He looks like half the lawyers walking the halls of corporate law firms.

I think that makes this whole thing even scarier. With Manson, Adam Lanza, Brian Mitchell (Elizabeth Smart), the Colorado shooter, they all looked bonkers. This guy looks like a mildly attractive accountant.
This.

I am not seeing a big attractiveness difference between him and E and how so many are jumping to jealousy as a possible motive - he is tall , average weight, other than the broken nose that could have been easily fixed everything looks 'regular' features like ?

the motive could be something no one has thought of yet. I dont know much about 'Incels'

All good points.

My guess is that they didn't suspect him during his drive or he would have been arrested when he was stopped. LE doesn't just let a serial killer drive away.
They literally couldn’t arrest him without an arrest warrant lol

Also, arrested for mass murder, perhaps we will find out later if this was serial (I think he would have continued)

Why anyone would wish to trace a flight transporting him from points A to B? I am seriously curious.

MOO: Others are mostly talking about the dark line. On the right side of his right arm, moving from the side of wrist towards the elbow and partially covered by the sleeve. A cropped photo is linked by someone here on BE feed.

Now it might be a harsh shadow from weird bone structure and low fat levels, but looking at the lightning direction, I'm not sure. Could be anything, but could also be a cut like as if a knife had been pushed down towards his arm and he cut himself - area kinda matches, try holding a knife in stabbing position and then push it down as if someone lying down was trying to defend themself.

Personally, I think it's a resolution shadow.

Kind of like I doubt those stains on his dad's teeth are there in real life.

I am not from the US so please forgive my lack of knowledge. Having read the gag order from the court, I doubt this will impact the PCA being unsealed however is it possible for the defence to put forward a motion to seal for a PCA?

This guy makes no sense. He leaves pieces of himself(dna)at the crime scene and maybe more evidence we don't about yet. Drives his own car the night of the murders in front of various cameras without a care. Keeps his car visable even after knowing the whole country is looking for it. Drives thousands of miles in said car again without a care. This is a criminology major going for his PHD? Did he commit these murders with the intention to be caught and prosecuted? IMO he couldn't have done a better job of setting himself up. For someone suppossedly OCD this was just a sloppy crime scene. Surely after all those years of education he would have done a better job even if he slept thru half of his classes.

I agree with you.

Before even reading the article from your post, I wrote yesterday something along the line that this is not a football game, but that does not help a lot. There always be people who will enjoy entertainment of bashing someone who is not in position to defend or retaliate. But, once the table turns 180 degrees are first to complain of being bullied. What goes around, comes around, it is good to remember this saying.

And another one. Do not kick a fallen man. It is temptingly, but stay decent.

The best policy at the moment is to wait and see what Moscow prosecutor has in that sealed file. I keep my mind open, not only because we know almost nothing as far as evidence is concerned. But also because if yesterday presser at Moscow ID after the extradition hearing is anything to go by, it was inconvincing. In Moscow ID are evidently not entirely happy that BK waived his extradition without fight. Which makes me thinking: why? Do they need more time, because so far they could not find any connection between BK and any of the victims? Did they fail to find some victims DNA in the car. Because, let be honest, in the light of missing murder weapon, of any evidence of connection between BK and any of the victims, and any indication that BK was fascinated or undergone knives combat or any combat training if we have to be precise, the question how he managed to kill 4 people and what was the motives for such horrible crime will hang in the air and will not go away.

He may be shy, socially awkward, he may be hard grader, he may be bulling as an act of retaliation of being bullied, but none of this is a criminal offence. This has to be remembered. He may commit the crime he is accused of, but he may be innocent. At this moment we do not know.

And let's not forget the victims and their families. The worst that could happen to them is 6 months from now BK to go free because of lack of evidence against him or because he is acquitred due to unfair trial, trial of public opinion etc..I am speculating about the time line but not about possible outcomes.

So, there is another question. Will Moscow ID LE and FBI keep combing that 19000 tips-off or now, when they have a suspect, they packed of that part of investigation altogether and will focus solely on digging around BK? What is the practice in this case?
That is a good question! What is the practice here? Do they keep looking at evidence with new tips or are they dealing with a locked up case now?

Or simply complying with the requirement to register your car in Washingto to get in-state tuition. I posted threads ago thta this is what the WSU criminology department tells students to do. Registrations are traceable. It would offer no "track coverage."

I'm waiting to see some actual evidence from a PCA or other court document that a judge has reviewed independently.

Let's think about what we have:
1. a police chief claim that his DNA matches DNA found at the crime scene and media reports the match came from familial DNA.
2. a police chief claim that a 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra was seen driving near the crime scene at some time early in the morning of the murders.

Even if we accept the the police chief is being 100% honest and earnest, these are very weak pieces of evidence.

<snip>
It's not accurate to say the car and DNA are "what we have". It's what we've been told about, which is quite different. They have already stated there is a lot of information in the Probable Cause documents, which are still sealed. NONE of that information can be shared with the public until it's unsealed, so a LOT of their evidence cannot be shared.

DNA is not a weak piece of evidence at all, but it depends greatly on where that evidence is found. Does anyone think they would have arrested him on a no knock warrant, 2500 miles away if they had found his DNA in the kitchen? Or the carport? Or on a porch column? Of course not. It's a known party house. The DNA will HAVE to come from a place that can't be explained by a normal, brief visit to the house.

Plus, no LE and/or prosecutor is going to try their case to the media and general public before the trial. It would taint the jury pool. So judging the strength of their case by what allowed them to obtain a warrant would be a significant mistake.

Would an ID gag order on both sides preclude release of things like a probable cause affidavit? Idaho murders: Judge issues gag order blocking officials, defense from discussing case against Bryan Kohberger
The current order doesn’t include public records but it does prohibit discussing them.

Dissemination Order

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the parties to the above titled action, including investigators, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, and agents ofthe prosecuting attorney or defense attorney, are prohibited from making extrajudicial statements, written or oral, concerning this case, other than a quotation from or reference to, without comment, the public records of the case.

I don’t want to post anything without a source, I am simply posing a question... Did BK change the registration of his car? I seen a document with a different reg to the one he was pulled over in, if so, when did he change it if anyone has any sources?

You can find it at the link above. It's not showing up on Flight Tracker24 or Flight Aware

N879ST

Edit: For Clarity
I searched FlightAware’s airports in eastern PA and eastern WA/ID nothing came up.

Does the link you provided give a final destination for the aircraft in question?

If it’s flying him cross country, my guess is that it will have to make at least a couple of layovers to refuel and change crew.

They literally couldn’t arrest him without an arrest warrant lol

Also, mass murderer, not confirmed serial

I think it will not show up, they do not allow tracking of a plane such as this.
