If he died in the car though, why cover it up?? Babies die in hot cars all the time and the parents rarely get serious punishment if it was an accident. Whereas by hiding the body you risk going down for murder 1.

The only reason I could imagine them covering up a hot car death is if they left him in there for hours whilst they were off doing something illegal, and by the time they checked him it was obvious he has been dead for a long time, so LE wouldn't buy any story about just not checking him for 20 minutes or whatever.

Honest, I am very wary of the drug theory <modsnip>, but I wonder if they are addicts after all. That would explain why they would cover up an accidental death.

I am just trying to get caught up on all of this.. but my first impression this morning was I wonder if he was left in a hot truck by accident.

Just mucky I think too... Plus he has bad eczema on his face in a few pictures, but I think a lot of good parents struggle to control eczema, so I haven't read anything into it.

Someone mentioned a picture where he looks like his.shoulder is dislocated, but I haven't seen anything like that... Anyone got a link to the picture?

I'm the one who mentioned the pic. He is standing in front of a lamp, cowboy hat on, and his arms are down by his side. It looks to me as if his right shoulder is dislocated. It has to do with how that shoulder and arm looks. I don't have a link though, so IIRC. I remember being concerned about it the moment I saw his little shoulder.

MOO

IDK maybe they thought they could get away with it so they wouldn't have to face any charges at all... perhaps they aren't too bright.

Or on purpose.

If hot-car death, the possibilities are:
* pure accident...but then why cover up?
* ongoing parenting practice - they use the car as a babysitter and know it's wrong
* angry/frustrated with him and put him in the car to "shut him up" or something like that, perhaps even after hurting him

To me it looks like the angle the picture is taken from, but I could be wrong!

They are no longer friends on facebook, so I would assume so.
DK and JM are still friends but JM is not on DK Sr's list. (Vernals father). Whatever the outcome in all of this, I'm sure their relationship will be severely strained, if it's not already. IMO

eta, I just noticed a similar posting. Sorry, still catching up.

Both the joints look in the correct location to me (I am a mom & nurse- I've seen a few out of whack shoulders). It seems like he is leaning forward a bit with his shoulders rolled forward instead of perfectly upright. Maybe someone was tickling him? His shoulders look a bit red, perhaps sunburnt, but that is the only thing I see in this pic. He looks like a happy little goofball.

Here is a link with a dislocated shoulder pic
https://thesportsphysio.wordpress.com/2013/08/20/shoulder-instability-part-2-trauma/

It does look odd, but looking on down towards his hand, it looks as though he's got his hand twisted backwards and is leaning it on whatever that is next to him (bed?). His scapula may be winging a bit, too, making his shoulder look weird.

It is SO easy to dislocate a young child's shoulder even without abuse (grabbing their hand as they're running towards the street, for example), though, so it's hard to say for sure.

Heck, if they'd come clean about a hot car death right away they'd probably have been raised up as saints and martyrs :p I'm sure they wouldn't have got the criticism they have.

Remember that guy who left his child, Cooper Harris, in a hot car for 8 hours - when he was arrested the public was outraged and raised a load of money to help him... Until LE explained that they thought it was actually premeditated murder and released some of the evidence. Poor Cooper's funeral was even turned into a lecture on how wonderful the father was :banghead:

Maybe that had something to do with DK hauling up the road to get cell signal? (Referring to cadaver dogs not hitting on scent in truck) We know DK left but did we ever hear him talk about how he got back?

We havent not heard from the parents in the past few days AFAIK, and I doubt we will. I still have a hard time grasping that this was planned. I think they could possibly have been negligent and then the "something" happened especially if the window of opportunity is much larger then we were originally told. If baby Deoor was alone he could have indeed just taken off, died or drowned or just wandered too far especially if it actually was at night. I think its possible the parents got scared, started lying and the more they lied, they more they had to in a effort to protect themselves. Oh what a tangled web? Only now its a bigger mess then they ever imagined. JMO.
I have a funny feeling things just might unfold the way you described your theory. I don't think they planned it or killed him.

The way his hand is resting on the bed is making it look bowed out a bit. If you look at the landmarks on his arm you can assess the angle of his left hand, which is different than his right. Mainly I am looking at the styloid process, which is the little knobby bone that pokes out of the pinky side of the wrist. It looks as though his right hand is palm back while his left hand palm is facing the side of this body- I hope that makes sense. Also the collar bone is not asymmetrical. Just my two cents.

Yes,that is the one! It would be his right shoulder, not on our right. I have seen dislocated shoulders on children in my work and this appears to be dislocated to me. JMO.

Doesn't dislocation hurt? IDK.

Yes, hired by the baby's grandfather but the client is baby DeOrr. So who does the PI report to?

Baby Deorr cannot be his client. A minor can't enter into a contract until age 18. The grandfather signed a contract with Klein to find out what happened to his grandson.
