Hasn't Bowerman also said to the effect that both of them know where Deorr is?

I need to hear from either Sheriff Bowerman or the FBI before I do believe anything.
SABBM Snipped for brevity

I don't have a problem with that.

My .02 is that Klein may have bumped the suspects out of their proverbial 'comfort zone'. As in, he extremely irritated them or made them afraid.

And maybe all this time they were basking in the delusion that they had the sheriff, le and the fbi, and the private investigators all 'fooled'. My opinion is that they were patting themselves on the back.
It would appear that time is coming to an end.
MOO

I'm curious...Klein says the Timeline begins at 8:00 a.m. (last person verified(??) that saw DeOrr?? Is that what this means??) Wonder who that was??

Just an observation... It seems to me that a very wise strategy right now would be to turn VDK and JM against one another. If anything could do that, it would be leaking the fact that JM has admitted that DeOrr is deceased, and implying that she has confessed to being afraid of VDK.

Philip R. Klein of Klein Investigations and Consulting spoke with reporter Chelsea Brentzel Wednesday. He wouldn’t say what the piece of equipment was or when the cadaver dogs found it.

“We believe it is important for the public to know that the cadaver dog did hit in three certain areas of the pieces of equipment which does indicate there was a death or there was some type of fluid, cerebral fluid, blood whatever it may be, that was in the location where the dog hit, and that we know there was a death,” said Klein.

I have no idea what this means, but didn't Klein discuss the 3 mile area yesterday. I know SB said something about the hit & the 3 mile area. Because, what equipment would be outside the 3 mile area?
I need to revisit this.

I have a notion that Jessica will sue Klein for damages. She'll say his statements have made it impossible for her to find work. She'll run into the same problems that Deorr will with his slander suit against Klein. They have to prove Klein wrong.

And whether she'll file for unemployment benefits. For the curious here's a quick break down of Idaho's unemployment benefit eligibility guidelines:

In order to establish unemployment eligibility in Idaho you have to:

1. Be a resident of Idaho. If you are not a resident of Idaho, but worked in Idaho at your last job, you should still have Idaho unemployment eligibility.
2. Have worked and earned income in Idaho.
3. You must not be disabled.
4. You must be able to work.
5. You must be actively looking for a new job.
6. You must have lost your job through no fault of your own. If you quit your job or were fired for 'just cause' you may not be eligible to collect unemployment in Idaho. Every case is different, so if you lost your job -- be sure to apply to unemployment in case you are indeed eligible to receive unemployment benefits.
I'm confused. When was it made official that VDK is suing?

I'm not sure if I believe she will sue. Discovery could very well put her in a much worse position than she's in now.

I guess we'll see.

I believe Klein said the timeline begins at 8:00 a.m. because that is when all of the stories change--people's stories did not match regarding what was taking place from 8 until the 911 calls. That is what I understood from his interview. I thought this was very interesting--many of assuming the timeline began at 8 due to someone seeing DeOrr alive around that time. Although maybe there WAS someone who saw him--who knows at this point!

"They are being less than truthful," Bowerman said. "They know something, I just don't know what they know. It causes me alarm. I believe they know where he is absolutely."

Thank you, so it does sound like JM is turning or has turned & if she is claiming to be scared there is only one person theoretically she is scared of; therefore Deoor knows too where his son is, if Bowerman believes her IMO.

So.....Vilt (the local PI) withdrew his services because he was being lied to. I guess getting a new PI, 1100 miles away didn't go as planned either. I believe Klein took a lot more interest in the case than anyone involved counted on.

I don't remember Klein saying anything about a 3 mile area. Do you know where you heard that? SB has stated in the past that they searched a 3 mile area, but I don't think he mentioned that in relation to the cadaver dogs hitting on anything.

From Klein's statement, I get the impression it was a something at the campground that the dogs hit on. A piece of camping equipment or maybe one of their vehicles.

They need to bring the three of them in on charges. Separate them & interrogate. Tell them the other is talking. These lowlife a will flip on each other like a coin.

Didn't Bowerman make a comment that they couldn't even get their stories straight about who made breakfast? I also get the impression that the timeline starts at 8:00 am because that is when the stories start falling apart. Bowerman also said that there is nobody that can confirm when Deorr was last seen.

You are right. It's not official. Browning only recommended Vernal sue for defamation.

"From the beginning I have recommended that DeOrr Kunz fire Philip Klein and tonight I recommend that DeOrr should file a defamation suit against Mr. Klein."

I remember thinking the exact same thing at the time. It's likely that LE knew something was askew even way back then, but just didn't have the evidence they needed to make an arrest. Soon, very soon...

Could they take photos of the area then, to compare to the area later in case there had been any disturbances? Idk, I can't figure it out either.

Of all the scenarios I've thought out, it seems that the ones involving DeOrr passing sometime overnight make the most sense. What confuses me is, had this taken place and (forgive me) his body been unmoved for that long...wouldn't there have been significantly more dog alerts than we've been led to suspect? I'm not all that familiar with canine SAR, but I was under the impression that the longer the period before a body is moved, the more likely a dog will be to alert to it.
