Has it been confirmed yet if Vernal worked the day that they went camping, I know it's been stated that Jessica and Robert went many times to Issac's to pick him up and Issac wasn't around, which makes me think that Issac wasn't aware of the camping trip, until departure.

Poor little DeOrr, strangers have put in more effort to find you than your own kin, such a shame

Yep I noticed that too. Curious.

Just another "huh?" in an already confusing case.

Then again, they could also just be ignorant about how the names Jr/Sr are supposed to work.

That would be my guess. Vernal DeOrr Kunz is the father. DeOrr Jay Kunz, Jr. is the son. There should be no "Jr." - neither their first or middle names are the same. And the same goes for the Sr. after Dennis DeOrr Kunz, although based on the repository, I don't think his legal name has a Sr. after it. I think it's only used for clarification purposes.

Is Trina the one keeping Bob silent? If so, I wonder why.

I think he himself doesn't want to say a word which could damage the family reputation. But maybe he isn't smart enough and has to get some help by his daughter Trina .... Yes, I also would like to learn why. I think she knows more than she is willing to let out and is acting her part "worried grieving remembering grandma". MOO

When someone (Bob?) was asked when/how little Deorr disappeared Trina answered (paraphrased) for him: "only a second looked away from the child and looking back: the child was gone". When I read that I stumbled upon her answer because she wasn't present at the campground at all but "knew" exactly what had happened - mysterious and suspect for my part. She can tell many things it seems ... MOO

It's been my understanding that he was in Blackfoot that day, but I don't know if that is fact or rumor.

I think Jessica and Robert are the two key players, and I think Vernal is as dumb as a stump cause he went along with it.

I really think that there are others that knew prior to the trip.

Crazy as it is I pray that Jessica gave little DeOrr away, cause then maybe DeOrr is alive and with a loving family, instead of just thrown away like he never mattered to anyone.

QUICK POLL

None of them know. Genuinely, none of them have a clue how DeOrr vanished. It's almost as if he was plucked into thin air by a huge child snatching eagle, or whisked away by a wellie eating mountain lion.

QUICK POLL

All know that he is genuinely lost in the woods where they were camping

Thank you

Well, I hate to be accused of being biased, what with the police agreeing with me and all! Thing is, the parents could NOT know that he definitely wandered off and got lost, because he could have been abducted, or taken by an animal, or fallen down a hole, or drowned in the reservoir. These options do still have to be on the table, I am aware of that, stranger things have happened etc. However, every authority who has worked with these parents and who have been up on that mountain with them thinks they're lying, and they know a LOT more than we do.

Like many members here I am puzzled why some still believe in the parents innocence. If we are to believe one single person's view surely it is that of Sheriff Bowerman, the lead investigator on the case, the main man, the head honcho, the one with the most vested interest in getting this solved. And what was he said again?

"We know that the parents aren’t telling the truth, and they know that we know that they’re lying. I know that they know where the little boy is and what happened to him.”

This minor rant is not aimed at you by the way, Latestforever, I'm just getting a little sick of the bickering. :slapfight:

Could it be at all possible that LE does not want to seem incompetent and is/was feeling pressure from the public to find sweet Deorr? I concede that I do feel that Deorr was left unattended more than once that day and that the parents are guilty of negligence, and this is the reason for the inconsistencies in the stories. Intentional harm to him, I do not believe that. He is there somewhere, lost, just as the parents have said. Doesn't mean I "like" the parents though.

Ok that could be if it was just LE, but the FBI, and both private investigators have said the same. Why protect LE if they are wrong? I just do not see the FBI or two seperate PIs agreeing with LE if they were not in agreement with their conclusion. They are paid to have their clients best interest in mind. Also it has been stated that the specialized dog picked up no scent of Deorr at the campground. If he had been there, then they would have picked up a scent. Also no stories do not change, if someone is really just negligent then say, YES we were negligent and take the hit of it, they have not.
