Yes. Judge Mallard specifically said after setting the new bond amount that Ms Daybell was to have no contact whatsoever with her alleged co-conspirators.

She states, "If Mrs. Daybell does post bound, I'm adding an additional condition to her release that she have not contact whatsoever with her alleged co-conspirators"

That is a condition if she posts bond

I'm sorry to prolong the raccoon controversy, but I thought I'd add my thoughts on it. MOO, but the raccoon was just an attempt at a believable cover story to explain to Tammy why there was disturbed ground. I've read a lot of people, in a lot of places, questioning why one would shoot a raccoon that was just walking around in the day, but:

1) there's a common perception that only sick/rabid raccoons come out during the day, as they are primarily nocturnal animals (really, though, there can be other reasons that they might be out during daylight), and
2) raccoons can be major pests on a farm or homestead or anywhere, really. Tammy had ducks. Raccoons can harass or kill ducks, or steal their eggs or eat their feed.

I can imagine that maybe Chad and Tammy had previously had the "ugh, raccoons are getting in the duck coop" conversation before, and thus, this text message both proves him heroic to his duck-keeping wife and provides an explanation for a grave-like area in the pet cemetery. And yes, if my husband shot a raccoon on our farm, he'd probably haul it out to the woods to decay. BUT, if he shot a raccoon on the Daybells' 4 acres, what else do you do with a dead critter to keep other critters from flocking to the carcass, but bury it?

All MOO and no, it still doesn't explain why Prior was so fixated on this fictional trash panda.

What Prior failed to acknowledge is that LE was not there to find a damned raccoon that was mentioned in the text from CD to TD. LE was there to find buried human remains. Which they did. Why would they search further? LE found what they were there for.
It was not about the raccoon, it was about the deaths and dismemberment of 2 missing children.

I think you meant me. I thought you were referring to MP (Melani P). She hadn't been charged with anything. She possibly lied to reporters but I don't remember her interacting with LE like MG in regards to JJ and Tylee.

I agree with all you said about Lori. But I do not believe Lori asked Chad to create the document labeling her family as dark. That’s on him. He too is evil.

But I do agree his day was coming. So was hers. Think about it. No way would they stay together forever. Both of them considering themselves “gods”. I am sure after a short time, one or both of them would grow dark and be dispensable.

I think it had to be Lori who requested the dark/light ratings, after she described her family and family problems to him. It was a way for her to stay in contact with Chad. It was a way for Chad to play along with Lori's game, flatter her, and totally agree with her on everything.

This is, IMO, the danger of many belief systems, not just this one. You are supposed to "believe with all your heart", but only to a reasonable extent. You are supposed to know where to draw the line and "not believe". MOO

It does seem strange. Are there any lawyers here? I’m curious if say, you and I were charged with committing the same crimes, could we then call one another from our jails? I would think that isn’t permitted. But I do not know the law.

Yea, me neither. If they are colluding together with their defense either directly or through their lawyers then it will give them plenty of time to develop matching stories.

Hopefully the state has enough evidence where it wont matter what they come up with.
Im holding out hope that there will be compelling evidence shown at both their trials where it will knock out any defense they come up with.

Its a little scary right now to me based only on what we heard so far from CD's preliminary hearing. I hope there is lots more evidence to come.

That is where I think many of us have been looking for some clarity. I'm not a lawyer so I don't know. I just know this has been debated for some time. I would imagine they are still innocent and proven guilty and have basic rights. By communicating from the jails, they're monitored. Should they both post bond, without those conditions, they'd be free to communicate with each other.

Does this case make your heads spin? I couldn’t follow it in the beginning. It was all over the place. I had a friend sit down and tell me who all the players were and that helped. I have since read every thread and with all the discussion and opinions, I still get confused. It is a very interesting case to follow. I feel there are more who know all the details:
ZP, MP, MG, DW and two who should be arrested: MP and ZP.

And just consider, it is said among locals there that there are many more members of AVOW and PAP. Scary stuff!

Agree. Right now, they can't speak to each other because both are incarcerated and from what I'm reading you can't get calls in jail only make calls. So MM would be the go between if that is allowed.
