Don't think I heard that, only that they closed the airspace for an hour or two while they removed remains.

Damn. Now I need to go back and look. I remember it was a local and I think it was his friends or something and was trying to charge up for another run. Maybe it was a different day/time. I thought it was around the time of some awesome work by Vislaw but again, it's been a minute so maybe I'm overlapping some events. On a separate note, for people who weren't around during that time, @vislaw had some amazing breakdowns of the scene if you haven't checked it out

IIRC, the photos that @vislaw analyzed were taken by a drone operator who worked for one of the local media outlets (not EIN). Earlier on another local also took up his own drone.

He's been subpoenaed? Wow! I wonder why? I thought he shared everything already, but maybe they need it on the record? He was there as the bodies were discovered, iirc, from a podcast.
Maybe somebody will argue that excessive publicity was caused by police leaks to the media. Nate was very close to the action on a few occasions. His ambush of Lori and Chad in Hawaii became one of the most recognizable moments of this case.

ETA: I'm sure Nate has some knowledge of the case that remains unpublished, but he likely won't be questioned about that part. IIRC, at some point he hinted at another secret recording made by MG.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Also wondering if anyone in their circle had any close calls — sudden illnesses/clots that were unexplained or assumed to be caused naturally. If they tried/failed w/JJ or Tylee we’d never know because medical intervention would defeat the purpose, but maybe a lawyer, pesky neighbor, co-worker, in-law?

Since what they’re using is apparently so obscure LE doesn’t look for it, someone surely had to experiment first to know how to do it right. Not necessarily Lori and Chad— it could be someone in their circle did the experimenting and it’s the associates of that someone that suddenly got ill.
IMO 100% certain the key ingredient is sourced from Mexico.
Alex's quick trip down there immediately before his death 'for meds' ........o_O

Think that trail will be quite revealing to LE.

moo

Seems like it is to prove that they must move the trial to get a fair one..

My opinion only, LVD and CD have been pretty big news outside of Idaho as well. How far should they go? We discussed this rabbit hole fairly extensively earlier. I am sure that MM and JP probably think that the county they reside in would be "perfect".

I don't believe that the venues will be changed. Leave it for the appeal. They are probably getting this in there for that reason alone.

According to one theory, a predominantly LDS jury would be more eager to convict, because of the religious aspect (Chad and Lori drawing negative attention to the church). For example, moving the trial to Boise would bring diversity in this respect.

IMO the venue will be changed, to avoid later appeals.

They never moved the "Derek Chauvin" trial in Minneapolis. And INMO, if any trial should have been moved it was that one.

Idaho is quite rural, just the logistics and management of where to put CD and LVD during trial, getting them to court each day, is going to be a huge part of this.

It was me (btw I’m a she) it was a family friend that day.

I know Boise is considerably much bigger of a community, but from what I know there’s still a good amount of LDS people there too. But you’re right there’s going to be statistically more people who aren’t just because BYUI draws a lot of LDS people to the area. I know that this area has a large amount of people who aren’t LDS though too.

I think it honestly could go either way about whether the case is moved or remains as it is. I still stand by my statement that there could be a jury found here that would be unbiased and fair regardless of their belief system.

All jmo moo imo

IIRC, she was diagnosed with pancreatitis.

Court docs show concern over Tylee Ryan’s well-being years before she was found dead Article from 09/09/2020 Nancy Grace site.

"According to the documents, which CrimeOnline has not independently verified, (e.d. as usual by Nancy's site?.. but these are now in public domain iirc to verify now) a legal guardian identified as Mary Fogel wrote in numerous instances that she felt Tylee was being negatively impact by the dramatic conflict between her parents. The documents cover multiple years of the custody battle, when Tylee would have been 5 and 6 years old.

“I suspect her medical and emotional state has been adversely affected by the sustained level of conflict and the many trials and legal proceedings in this case,” Fogel wrote in a 2009 court filing, according to Inside Edition.

Fogel also said that Tylee had suffered from medical conditions, including two bouts of pancreatitis."
