I'm thinking there is a toxic poison that has been used in Tammy's death and possibly Lori's brother Alex's death and her ex-husband and God knows who else and they believe it's inside that house. I hope to hell they didn't do anything like this with the kids. Potassium cyanide is my bet. Makes me think of the Jonestown Massacres with drinking the Kool Aide. Ugh.
I'm wondering: why did Alex have to die? He just got married, so suicide was less likely, unless he knew he was going to jail for a long time. Another option: he could have dragged others with him if he got caught. Did the cult send someone to poison him? Lori and Chad were on the run by then, so I doubt they were directly involved.

Fremont County Sheriff Len Humphries tells EastIdahoNews.com that law enforcement recently obtained sufficient probable cause to get a search warrant for the home. Officers are searching for forensic evidence such as blood or chemicals, which might shed some light on the Daybell case.

“This has been in the works for several days,” Humphries said. “When you are doing an investigation, you have to accumulate evidence, and the process takes time.”

Humphries would not say what the sufficient probable cause was that allowed them to get the warrant. He did say investigators could be at the scene for most of the day.

BBM. I understand why they would be looking for chemicals that may have been used to poison Tammy but, blood too? Looking for blood is not good. Could LE suspect that the children were murdered there?

LE planning to be there searching all day is also concerning. What do they believe happened there besides Tammy's suspicious death? Someone remind, me how big is the property? All that snow on the ground makes me concerned that if there are bodies buried there (since Sept) they won't be able to find them until spring. :(

Another thought - they mention they are searching the home for evidence relating to the kids' disappearance as well as the suspicious death cases, multiple. They mention specifically looking for forensic evidence, including blood and chemicals. Would they be looking for blood evidence relating to Tammy? I am hoping they don't have reason to believe there could be blood evidence linked to the kids. Continued prayers for JJ and Tylee's safety.

So she is claiming that he had the disciplinary council. Doesn't even that seem problematic, as in how would she know? Unless the disciplinary council happened within a few days either before or after Tammy's death then we would have to assume #3 or #4 didn't happen if @lurker042 is sure that Chad was attending church and going through the motions of fufilling his church calling up until Tammy's death.

If the council was held and it was immediately before or after Tammy's death then I wonder if LE knows. I can see that figuring in to things, potentially. MOO. (I can also see anyone who really knows what happened not being able to share that with LE which makes me suspect Dr Rosetti doesn't really know whether anything happened unless she's a friend of Chad and he told her.)
BBM
Probably not, imo.

They may have been "on the run" but be right under everyone's noses. I wouldn't put it past them to have poisoned Alex. Who else would be involved in this? We haven't heard of anyone else being involved in these, er, suspicious deaths. It's all Lori and Chad.

Let's just pray that nothing happens to the kids. Scary as hell, and who knows what vision one or both of them will have to excuse yet another "suspicious" death.

Alex's new wife could have been a member of Chad's cult and as such controlled by him. Did Lori have visions as well, or just Chad?

Thanks for asking tresir, but no. Members may discuss and reasonably speculate what is said in MSM or in a court document but may not publicly sleuth any individual who is not an officially named POI or suspect.

The usual WS rules apply unless Tricia makes a thread specific exception in a case.
TY for clarifying.

Do we know, did Lori completely move out of her townhome?

I don't think so. LE said that Lori and Chad had "left abruptly" and left town when LE came back with a search warrant (Nov 27). There was a cell phone ping showing a phone was active at the townhouse at the time when LE was dispatched but when LE arrived no one was there. LE didn't tell us whose phone was pinged there. My opinion is that the cell phone ping was probably Lori's AZ cellphone (or one of the kid's phones she had in her possession) and that phone pings indicated that Lori and Chad left town only minutes before LE arrived at the town home with a search warrant. If I'm right about this theory then either Lori and Chad had a police scanner they were listening to and heard the dispatch over the radio or someone tipped them off that LE was coming to search the townhouse. MOO.

Re a vision excusing them: the video of Lori in the GMA snippet sent chills up my spine. "If you do something bad yesterday, the Lord wants you to say sorry today and just do better tomorrow."

What a convenient, self-absolving system of morality.

To add to this, I can't see them throwing together a council immediately after Tammy's death. If they had decided to try and possibly excommunicate Chad prior to Tammy's death then I would expect they'd have given it a bit of time and then with Chad not attending church, moving in with Lori, and then the stuff with Lori's kids hitting the news I wonder if they wouldn't have just backed off for the moment for a ton of reasons.

It's a 3.75 acre lot, with several other structures other than the house (like outbuildings).

The Mormon concept of repentance could be spun in someone's mind as like that. Or summarized in an over-simplified way like that. It wouldn't be reality, but I'm not surprised that Lori would see it that way.

The mention of blood stood out to me, too. I'm not sure what they could be looking for. At least one adult Daybell child was still living at home, so I feel like it would be hard to carry out any sort of attack without them knowing? Then again, with the stuff I've seen in cases over the years, nothing really surprises me anymore. :(

Oh and I have seen folks go to church to be forgiven for the sins they did that week, only to do them again the following week and go back to church to be forgiven once again. In their minds, they're in the clear for the past weeks bad deeds. Clean slate to dirty up for the following week. Nice system they got going in their heads, eh?

Oh crap. I think we all know what this means- Tammy didn't die a natural death. :(
This is what I think too. Maybe looking for traces of any drugs that were found in her body or other substances. I think they had already done one search in November but at the apartment not at these premises. MOO.
