Charles and Lori were already in a tense situation. It does not seem plausible that Lori picked that morning to have Charles killed. If you planned it, why have the kids as witnesses?

This is an insane amount of marriages. In all the stuff I've read about these groups, those I know who are on the border of them... NONE have mentioned being married some massive thing.

@LHS, I have been following your suggestion to learn more about AVOW and I have to admit I'm a bit confused by it all.

References to LDS is all over this site and so I'm trying to figure out where LDS ends and where the fringe elements begin. Or, if this really all fringe elements hiding behind the cloak of LDS?

Very confusing. Do you have any thoughts on how to better isolate who might be supporting CD and LD via AVOW?

Yes, so true. but, perhaps the person neighbor Seth saw leaving (and assumed was Alex) was Chad.
LE has apparently talked to Chad there the day before. I’m just thinking maybe Alex was already gone from Rexberg earlier...

What if they had limited contact and this was her chance? Her brother was conveniently there early in the morning. The kids didn't need to witness it if they were taken outside, for example.

Yes, I just mean it would’ve been Chad leaving (packing up the car). We know he was there with Lori when LE came.
How did Alex have enough money to rent a townhouse in ID and keep his place in AZ? Or did he maybe move in with the new wife directly from his ID townhouse?

I imagine Lori actually thought that Charles was a threat to them - that Nick Schneider had inhabited Charles’ body and was going to come harm them, and primed Alex accordingly. In reality, Charles had been robbed and I’m sure maybe asked Lori where the money was, etc. and perhaps Lori promised Alex a cut. also, she doesn’t seem all that concerned with what will be traumatic for her kids, she had just left for months, etc. previously, - and apparently she told them to go wait in the car when the argument started. We know Charles was afraid for his life from these two - taking a baseball bat in with him was probably reasonable.

I assumed that the neighbor saw Lori and her brother arrive in September and move into two houses/appartments. This would not have been Chad, as he was still living with Tammy. The neighbor saw the same person with Lori packing things in the truck in November, the day before LE arrived and found them gone.
I'm not sure if the police spoke with Chad in person at Lori's Rexburg address.

I dont know about the money, but from what I can tell all addresses previously registered to Alex were not in Gilbert, where he died. His new wife has a profile on a place where you can buy and sell items locally and it always lists her pickup address in Gilbert. I cant say for sure that he moved in with the wife, but it seems plausible.

Note that this states search was related to both Tammy's death and the missing kids.
 
I’m beginning to wonder if Chad ever lived with Lori. He most likely spent a good bit of time at her townhouse- but maybe the neighbor never mentioned him because he hadn’t seen him there. Also, one (or more) of Chad’s adult kids lives in their family home. So, maybe after he married Lori he didn’t move in as he was keeping all this secret from them. Maybe he’s telling his family they aren’t married and that everyone is lying and they are buying that story because they’ve seen him everyday at home until he bolted with Lori- MOO

I am guessing as he allowed his kids to play with JJ he knows who is who. It sounds like he was a neighbour for at least two months (Sept 23rd to Nov 27th) and an observant one at that thankfully.

Yes I think it is possible especially as at least 3 of them are missing or whereabouts unknown and one is now deceased.
