One thing that brings me peace in all of this and the hope that Chad and Lori will face capital murder charges is that I think we've seen they have not been at all careful in their electronic conversations with each other. Whether through arrogance, or thinking there was no need for vigilance, LE has all kinds of convos recorded. MOO

I don't know about before. There's a podcast Jun 26, 2018 stating he just quit his job and I assume he was focusing more on the podcast and event scene to promote his books (search google for Chad Daybell quit his job). This aligns with what I know of his employment as well. More time to meet people because he wasn't tied to the 9-to-5 grind and commute (45 minutes each way) to Idaho Falls.
Did they meet before? I don't know.
I just think it's likely that this could have been the first meeting in person. We know that after this date, some sources say late 2018, there's the November 2018 event in Middleton, ID. Then there's April Reynolds on Dateline saying when Lori appeared in Kauai (ETA: Feb 2019), she was obsessed with him.

No doubt he knows that is untrue but when I say willfully ignorant I mean about what eventually happened to them. Lori has been telling this emancipation lie for quite a while so technically she wouldn't be a minor in Chad's eyes right? Maybe she told him she gave custody of JJ to Tylee? Thus no minor children anymore.

I am not sure if this was already shared but here is video of Chad leaving the courthouse. I have never posted and I apologize if I shared the link incorrectly. The question of "How does the church feel about this?" seemed to get a subtle reaction. His desire to please the Church that he grew up in and served in for years may end up having an influence on him testifying against her. Especially when he realizes she is not a god or translated being. I am always interested in the body language. Like everyone else, I noticed Lori confirm the 5 million bail with her lawyer. I sensed that it was slightly accusatory and that he tried to placate her. I don't think she expected to go back out that door.

I was very protective over my younger sibling. We come from rough home and as older sibling I would take my younger sibling and run to my grandparents. IMO if she could she would and we would know about it. She seemed very close to JJ.

The only thing that makes sense to me- if the kids are still here, is Lori’s parents hiding them. That would likely be who she would most trust, but given their advanced age & the other adult siblings- it doesn’t seem plausible...unless they’re living some RV lifestyle and traversing the country. This is the only remote scenario that makes sense to me, but given a certain person has some previous entanglements, I think LE would have combed this over deeply already.

Well, in weak support of my thought, LV and her family have a verifiable history of living in California, Texas and Arizona, possibly other jurisdictions. Based on court records, they also have a history of being anti-government (taxes don’t apply to them, just the rest of us) so they refuse to pay taxes, as documented by the many court cases. The current groups that LV and CD associate with and support publicly, are considered more anti-government or (Patriot groups). These groups tend to embrace their own version of the Constitution. With the Bundy case a while ago...they consider themselves “sovereign “ citizens. MOO

Just seeing Lori’s nonchalant attitude during CV’s death, and then again when Nate tried to question her, makes me believe the children are gone.

Her behavior is inconceivable to me. She has to be the most despicable person I’ve ever seen- and that’s saying something.

And she had the audacity to show herself at Tammy’s funeral!?! WTH?

Not to mention, she’s a grandmother!! We are about the same age, and I have withdrawals if I haven’t seen my grandchildren in a week!

The most interesting part of the hearing today was Lori’s response when the judge declared the bond. Watch for her exhale at that point. Then she turns to her attorney and looks very angry as she says “5 Million”. Then I think the attorney talks her down by saying something to the effect that he will talk to “Craig” and that there are other things that are more important things to worry about than the bail amount. MOO. Any other thoughts about what he tells Lori?

Craig De Costa, officially her attorney and I think the main guy at the law firm. The attorney in court was from his firm, but not the person who is supposedly her attorney.

jmo. L spearheaded this whole thing from the beginning. C was so infatuated with her, he went along with it. Including the early demise of his wife. This man didn't care about the emotional damage this new marriage would do to his 5 children who were still grieving the death of their mom. I'm surprised none of them are missing or worse. This is not about religion, this is about a woman who wanted money, power and freedom and she saw all that in C. One if not both children were in the plastic tubs being moved in and out of the storage unit. Again, jmo I'd like to know who helped them move those plastic tubs in the video????
