Hope not, LOL.Would it make someone a bad person to read this and laugh? (Asking for a friend.)

This is exactly how I have interpreted this cult-speak phrase. The LDS church does believe a person can be possessed or affected/influenced by evil spirits much like in the New Testament, and that they can be cast out. However, these cases are not all that common, and NEVER NEVER NEVER cause to end someone's life since there is clearly a far better solution Biblicly-speaking
Yes. Note how it has been used by the offshoot cultists specifically when referencing children. It's weird.the
Luke 11:36 King James Version (KJV)
36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
Just curious and so I looked up bible quotes
From her quoted phrase the first thing I thought of was full of light i.e. life and then goes dark i.e. death
MOO
Okay, this convinced me to throw a few bucks on the pile.
No, it was IP.Thanks!
Yes, of course it's not ok.I agree 100%. Chad was a good friend, and obviously a lot of us remember him as super nice, because he was. I wouldn't have been friends otherwise. Looking back, he was kind of bossy with guys and girls in our grade, but I think we thought it was because he was helping us. I wouldn't say social norms had advanced past giving me advice in my yearbook, just that it was kind of weird. I think men and women are still trying to give each other advice now, let alone 70-80 years ago, lol, but yes things are somewhat better now I hope. But there will always be weird Chads, and that was more my point, that he was an aberration in my life, even in the mid eighties he was not the norm by any means. Honestly, the world I grew up in was super nice, in some ways we were nicer to each other than people are now, and I had a wonderful childhood and teen-agehood. MOOThank you for responding, I agree with you 100%. Full disclosure: I inadvertently sent this question to you when I should have directed it to Redvines86, who is the individual who had this weird yearbook experience with Chad. Ugh, so sorry.
FWIW, what I was getting at is I would have guessed (correctly, as it happens, now that I can see Redvines86 is female) that he pulled this stunt with a female. I'm gonna go out on a wild limb here and say that he would never have pulled this with a man. Yet he felt some entitlement to not only think he had the right to do that, he was comfortable to put it in writing at a time when social norms had advanced far beyond all of that.
Poor Tammy, and all she wanted was to continue to serve her God, love her family, bless her community, and watch her grandkids grow up. But others felt entitled to take that all of away from her, and from them. That selfishness robbed them of the many rich blessings she would have brought to all of them, because you know she would have brought them in spades, and then some.
So, did Lori go to ... religious counseling today?

i will really have to go back.... I thought that very statement in bold was from IP, not MBP.. But i don't understand the statement All of the children in the XXXX and XXXX families were included when the sacrament was being administered (the children only drank grape juice) and the older children were also baptized. It was her niece Melani that was reported to have said it:
“Melani’s knowledge of the whereabouts of her aunt’s two missing children and her unwillingness to cooperate with law enforcement is daunting and her current husband has told law enforcement that Melani says sometimes children are full of light and then just like that they go dark,” the newly revealed court documents say, according to Fox10.
Doomsday mom Lori Vallow’s niece knows where missing kids are: Court docs
BBM.
It's rumored he is going to try getting on his knees and praying. He hasn't tried it before, but he hears it works in some situations. So, did Chad go to church in Kauai today?
Good for him! It’s important to have commissary money.OF COURSE he says he’s writing a book about this whole thing. These two are such idiots.
Yeah, it's rumored she led the worship team, then stepped right up and gave a hell and brimstone sermon. So, did Lori go to ... religious counseling today?

More often than not they either go NO COMMENT to all questions asked which then enables them to accurately present answers at Crown Court, to the questions asked previously in interviews ( but they run the risk of the Judge alerting the jury to the facts that their accounts was only given once their legal representation had all disclosure in hand ) OR what is becoming more prevalent is a half way measure whereby they give , again through their legal representative, a PREPARED STATEMENT. This basically is an outline account without any tangible detail and it is so that the accused is not tainted by giving a NO COMMENT interview but they are also not tying theirselves into giving an explanation to fit the disclosure which if not fully accurate, can be picked apart and huge holes created in their own version of events , once this is given as evidence in Crown Court ( an ultimately can often be disproved by witness accounts and alibi statements and CCTV and forensic evidence etc).In your experience, do accused with counsel present, tend to opt not to give a version at interview, or do they tend to risk getting a story down?
I've seen a few cases where the version given at interview has obvious mistakes due to it being manufactured around the disclosure, but failing to deal with stuff that emerges "later"
I wonder how many "Where are the children?" posters she will receive every day.I don't mind writing her, but I'm sure as heck using a fake name and driving out of my my for the postmark! lol
