Apologies if this has already been discussed (i'm 10 pgs back) but I completely agree...

Not only about the death of her brother with whom she was super close to supposedly... But also how Annie described her reaction to Tylee's dad JR dying.... not just not allowing Tylee to grieve, but also trying to destroy his reputation, and smear him to family after death... "The World is a better place without JR in it" etc.

Again with her reaction and lies around CV, who was essentially the only father figure in their lives. Suddenly accusing him of domestic violence to friends... And having a pool party on the very day he was killed (at the very house).Plus, sending his blood children that BEYOND insensitive text message to let them know their dad was dead!!

To me this is textbook APD aka Sociopath.

I think for the most part it's only the young missionaries that have a chronic illness, they are bringing home all the older couple missionaries.

There are currently 22 missions being affected. All missionaries from these areas are being sent home, the rest are being quarantined for the time being. Not sure where Chad's son is serving now though.

I see the change of judge as a stall tactic and nothing more...although it really makes me wonder WHAT LE/FBI has as far as evidence that is making C and L retain 3 lawyers and big time start planning for pre-trial like this...and wondering what charges exactly they are possibly threatening...besides the "who talks first" I think its "how serious of a charge" they are playing...my fear is they would gamble with a reduced charge and stay quiet.

What's your excuse NOW Lori and Chad the Just?"

Hah. So one mystery solved. Alex couldn't be in two places at once. But he was not on video on Oct 2nd. It was Chad in the locker on Oct 2nd, not Alex. So Melani's lawyer who claimed Melani recognized Alex as the man on video in the locker better think again of what he is saying.

I don't understand why there would be a conflict of interest? The judge is not representing one of the parties in the civil case. He's presiding over the case, supposedly as an impartial judge, and he would need to know the same info for judging both cases IMO. Lori's attorney's argument that the judge is prejudiced because he is over that case too is nonsensical to me-- the cases are linked. There would not be a civil case without the criminal one, which is based on Lori's alleged criminal actions. In another case I followed here-- the murder trial of Patrick Frazee the same judge presided over Frazee's daughter's custody hearings (Frazee murdered his daughter's mother and her maternal grandparents were awarded temp custody during trial and permanent custody after his conviction). There was never an attempt to get the judge thrown out in that case AFAIK. I thought it was quite normal to have the same judge. MM's motion may come back to bite him/Lori, however, as he is calling the judge prejudiced and gives no clear reason for it. If it doesn't fly, then Lori's legal team will still have to argue in front of Judge Eddins for the prelim hearing. MOO.

I agree that Chandler PD is taking it seriously now. I'm sure they have been for some time. I thought about saying "something was rotten in the state of" instead, but I figured I'd stick to the original quote!

That's some clever thinking about the pool party. It certainly would have helped them to disturb the scene considering how little furniture and belongings there seemed to be there*. I wonder just how many people came? LV <modsnip: derogatory terms or name changes are not allowed> doesn't seem to have many friends, and I doubt the neighbors would come knowing the estranged husband was killed there THAT MORNING (except perhaps out of curiosity)...

On the other hand, and I remember someone suggested in an earlier thread, there may have been only a few people there, or even just JJ, TR, AC, and LV. If they were swimming and playing loud music, it may have looked and sounded like a "party". The neighbors witnessing this would have certainly thought it was odd to see and hear them having such fun on what would have been a tragic day to normal people.

Replying to myself to say fwiw, I didn't call LV any names - someone on YouTube did. I explained that the name came from YouTube in my post (that was the second modsnip). I only wanted to point that out because I was afraid it may have come across like I was a total jerk. (I swear I'm only a newbie half-a-jerk.)
