I'm very troubled that a 17 year wasn't missed for such a long time, quite a bit longer than JJ. I think she must have gone first, since she would keep track of JJ, whereas he wouldn't keep track of her. Also, I imagine there was a date that she was intending to enroll in school? It had to be before then, so she wouldn't be kept track of there.

I wonder if police obtained her phone, and have perhaps detected when the usage dramatically changed. Possibly the trip to Yellowstone was a sort of last treat, like a last meal. The cold-heartedness would have been immense. A sleeping drug, followed by suffocation, would be the simplest.

I agree that there was likely a freezer involved, that has long since been disposed of. Perhaps it was in Alex's unused apartment.

IMO, the bodies were buried in Chad's yard because it is agricultural land and easier to dig, and then he could cover it up. Wild land, like National Forest, is extremely hard to dig, there are so many tree roots, rocks, etc. And there's always the risk someone curious will show up, or animals will dig it up again.

I wonder if the night-time bonfires were to encourage a large number of people to walk around over the graves, concealing them.

This is a really good post. I have thought the same thing about Yellowstone being a last treat. The bonfires and feet walking all over is also a good thought.

Great point! I wonder if the ring camera and other CCTV along the route to CDs house caught a flurry of activity during this timeframe? This could be the pieces that helped LE in finding the bodies. JMO

Maybe now they will go back and view CCTV more in detail. I think they each were killed on his property at separate times when nobody was home. BUT I do still find it suspicious how they took out the back car seat in the Jeep and put it in the storage unit (video from EastIdaho News awhile ago) then came back for it. JMO

In the interview that Nate gave on the Nancy Grace podcast recently, he mentioned that is was many little clues like puzzle pieces that finally formed the picture, so to speak, and allowed the police to get the warrant and search. I think no one knew specifically - but that there were things like the neighbor reporting the fires, aerial photo comparisons, timeline clues perhaps. Although I still have this thought in the back of my mind that Melanie P. and Ian had an inkling. I really do not think it was one person with total knowledge.

Plus Chad's recent run to dispose of items at landfill.

On Thursday, his son Garth Daybell was seen moving items out of the home, before giving a video interview in which he revealed his shock at his father's arrest.

'I'd say it happens, but it doesn't,' Garth told videographer Tyson Draper.

I think it's very odd the only information released about the ring camera is in relation an unidentified woman...I wonder if police released it because they hoped that person would come forward? Otherwise, there must be a ton of information from that camera, that police have collected and built a timeline from. Depending on the lighting, or the location Alex's apartment, possibly something could have happened in that apartment.

That is a good point. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't think the apartments had garages but I googled the apartment complex and it has an attached garage in the back.

I'm starting to think that was not an accident. I'm thinking this was the plan from the time LV found out she'd been cut out of the life insurance policy.

ETA: changed the date of when I think the plot to eliminate the children began.

IMO. MBP??? She spent alot of time with AxC around that time after the children were last seen. Between BB being shot at,and looking for her own children.After BB went into hiding. Looking at the timeline. They,AxC and MBP, made alot of miles in a car together. LVD and CD were in HI at that time. She was the one that told IP children are light then just go dark. JMO. She's the only one I can think of that he might have told. Just speculation on my part.

I did watch Tyson’s brief discussion w/the Daybell son. Tyson did the majority of the talking. Did I miss something?

IMO: If the interview was conducted between Emma and Nate, I’d believe it. Tyson...not so much

Hopefully they will have a lot of evidence now to be testing, especially if other items were put in the ground with the bodies. Microscopic fibers for instance which might match fibers found in a vehicle, or items like new tools purchased which they can match against receipts, or tool marks or bullet casings for example which can be matched to tools/guns they can now search for.

I had to watch this a couple times again...You are correct! I keep getting stuck at the shout out to Joseph (Chad's son in law)who is trolling Nate in a helicopter with Nate saying "Hi Joseph.. how ya doing? We'll be over the house in just a minute" ..To me this part says the family living with Chad and across the street were squarely in Chad's corner and had no clue the children's bodies were going to be found in a matter of hours in the backyard. MOO

I put together a timeline yesterday of the period from when Tylee was last seen to when Lori and Chad went to Hawaii in December and stayed there until her arrest.

I've excluded events which don't have much relevance to the locations of the key players. I've also made assumptions it is Alex at the storage unit when his pick up was used.
