If I Could Ask Cindy, George & Lee a Few Questions

I was just wondering, what you all got from READING the interview, that you didn't get from LISTENING to interview?

I can think of many many questions I would have asked not even being a trained professional, that weren't asked. Not even close to being asked.

I also wondered if anyone found it frustrating that LE kept cutting her off as she began to speak?

My thoughts were ... LET HER TALK! Let her ... that's where the clues come from right?

But noooo.... cut off after cut off after cut off....

i think KC got the idea of the kidnap theory from the culmination of her interrogation in tape 2. as they ask her questions her answers seems to lead nowhere and the detectives while trying to make sense unknowingly begin to follow her lead.this is how her con works. i have a sister who does this.when her back is against the wall she will scrutinize what the other person is trying to get at ..then she will try to hit on the possibilites of what they are thinking ..from there she will create a story that she believes they will believe.people like this have an ability to juggle different mindsets. they understand that each person has their own perception of reality. this is how con artists operate...LE knows .

I tried to just add this to the interview discussion thread, but when I went to do it, I couldn't find the thread! Then later, POOF there it was again. Am I going crazy? Sorry Mods, if you want to merge it I understand completely! I didn't mean to add more threads to an already overwhelming number!

I thought that way too. Let her talk herself into a corner. Just make her uncomfortable by staring at her for a bit... anything to just get her talking and let her keep going!!! However, I didnt want to be rude or question their strategy. hehe. I just got my posting privleges back !!! I have been a member of webssite for a few years now, and just had my first time out!!! I am losing my patience with this girl!!!:banghead:

I'm comfused by your theory because Casey gave them a written statement about the "kidnapping" prior to this interview.

I have had that question from day 1! Helloooo, you're not employed! Why do you need a nanny???!!!!!! I could never understand why that question wasn't asked!

Here ... you would have to assume that the men who pushed the car were aware of the car they pushed and that they even watch the news. Many assume because we watch and are "overly" aware of this case, so are others. No one that I've talked to ... was aware of the details of this case, even if they were of some minute circumstances.

I asked them ... K ... so what does Caylee look like? ... No answer.. "she's a little girl tha's been missing" is what they said.

I guess a little girl that could have easily walked by you yesterday?

precisely! There are many questions that I would have asked her... but first and foremost was that one. Who was paying for it and how? Are there cancelled checks? Bank statements perhaps? What were you doing that you needed a Nanny? I mean make her poo or get off the pot! I just felt like these guys did more talking and trying to work on her conscience than trying get the truth in other ways. It seems they led up to questions and then went on to something else, letting her get loose. I don't feel really good about questioning their tactics, or saying that they aren't doing their job. But I really wonder why they didn't try a different tactic.

I completely understand your POV .. I DO.

Everytime she went to talk ... LE cut her off! WTH?

Let her talk? Let her Bury herself ... It didn't happen.

She stood steadfast and strong in her story.

However, I picked up on a few things.

I was a little disappointed in the way they 'interviewed' her. I would also have brought out all her lies one by one. Especially the lie about having a nanny. I would have said you haven't worked in 2 years. Why did you need a nanny? How did you pay for a nanny? You had this nanny 2 years and have known her for 4 but you have no viable old or new number? You know no friends of hers or relatives? You don't know where she banks? blah blah. I would have gone on and on and ask why we should believe she ever had a nanny and if she would even believe herself@! lol I think they talked too much and didn't let her talk enough even tho everything she says is hogwash. Anyway, thats just my opinion. I wanted to break in the questioning to do it a different way!

Of course they didn't know what they were dealing with at the time but the girl is coo coo and you need to question in a different way.

I just went back and read some of everyone's comments. I see many of us have the same thoughts about the way she was questioned. I also would never have given up or let her leave. I would have put a new crew on to question her. They should never have let her go to lawyer up and they should not have arrested her. Maybe we wouldn't be here today wondering where caylee is if they just had a little more patience.

I can see her need for a nanny, so she could go out and party and sleep around without having to worry about where her daughter was. My question from day one was without a job, how do you afford a nanny? I live in Orlando, and I looked for a nanny at one point, and they don't come cheap. Most want at least $12-15 an hour. I couldn't afford that on my teacher's salary. How on earth would she afford one with no salary? That's alot of checks to forge.

Hope, what is the average/normal hourly cost for a "nanny" in Orlando?

i know it sounds confusing. but the experience we have in the family with my sister , she ignores what she has said in the past and she will just manipulate in the present tense by twisting what she said and create a fog around anyone confronting her. it is very distressing

It has really bothered me too that they never asked this. But, she would have just made up more lies. It would not have made her break, she would have just spun it. "Oh, I was working from home trying to get a job" Or, "Well, Zanny wanted to take her out for the day, so I said okay." But still, I am so curious as to what she would have said if they asked her where she was all day when she originally said "I dropped her off to got to work." and, what she would have said when they asked why she lied about that to begin with. It certainly would have given more fuel to convict her -more ridiculous lies.

I just heard them trying to work on her conscience... bad person vs good person, accident with honesty vs lies. So on and so forth. I don't know if it would have made a difference, but obviously trying to work on a conscience that isn't there was going nowhere. A different tactic couldn't have hurt!!! And I would be very interested in hearing what she would say about why she needed that Nanny and how she was paying for it!

How come we haven't heard from the two guys that helped push the car ?

I think these 2 are a figment of Casey's fertile imagination. I think she wanted that car to be stolen- that's why she left the purse and the key in it. So it had gas- she just abandoned it- that's why she brought that word up before they did- they were going down the ? route - did you cash a check? - then she denied abandoning it! It would have to have gas to be stolen - so nobody pushed it.

She was stealing money to run away and disappear- having the car found w/car seat and purse and keys- oh no someone did away w/Cas and Caylee! Problem was- she got too caught up in partying and enjoying new boyfriend and Amy ratted her out- mom found her- Casey goes to plan B or C or D or E....
