Sheesh, graphic testimony today. Sounds like a literal bloodbath in there. Heartbreaking. :(

ETA MOO Chris needs to rethink his self defense defense and just plead out right now. The jury is disgusted by this crime. Completely repulsed by him.

I want this tweet to stand alone because it supports the TRUTH. Christopher Harris and Christopher Harris ALONE was responsible for each and every killing and assault in that home that night. PERIOD.
 
This day was terrible! How can he explain Dillon using his tire iron to kill all of them, while he came in on them. Unless they cannot say all the blows came from the tire iron, but I think its pretty obvious. I totally agree with all the posts today and thank-you, it was very good reporting on the info from all of you guys! I am just sick to think a human can do that to another human. I agree that there was so much rage and anger here, this just doesn't happen for no reason, this was penned up anger that was finally let out, in my opinion. by an animal, not a human being.
 
seems defence is going to say that most of Dillens injuries were inflicted by Rick, they are possibly going to argue that Dillen attacked Rick with a knife (one of the wounds on Ricks hands could have come from a knife according to testimony today) and Rick then attacked Dillen with tyre iron seriously injuring him, they may then argue Dillen got the tyre iron off Rick and beat Rick to death and all the others whilst he was injured, thus his blood all over the home, then Chris arrives sometime during this killing spree and Dillen has once again got a knife and Chris gets the tyre iron and finishes Dillen off

I think this may be something like the story they will try to sell, just seems beyond implausible to me - the expert testified that they all suffered very similar injuries, so it would likely be one killer, not 3 that now seems to be where they are going

A former cellmate of Christopher Harris at the Logan County Jail told jurors that Harris told him he used a tire iron to kill the members of the Gee family because he didn't want to leave any witnesses.

Ty Cline, 42, who is serving a 30-year sentence for a 2011 Logan County conviction for first-degree murder, took the stand as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

"He told me that he wished he had burned the house down to destroy the evidence," Cline told jurors.

Later, he testified that Harris told him he "snapped" and killed them all.

Cline told jurors that he and Harris, 34, were sharing a cell in the summer of 2011 when the two began to talk about the Gee murders. At that time, Harris said the brothers had gone out drinking the night before and went to the Gee home in Beason as a "place to land."

Rick Gee answered the door when Christopher Harris knocked. A confrontation ensued and Cline said Harris told him he went back outside, got a tire iron and hit Rick Gee first. Then he attacked Ruth, who woke up due to the commotion.

Dillen Constant, the couple's 14-year-old son, then came at him with a kitchen knife, Cline said Harris told him. Harris dodged him and then struck him, too.

He later admitted to hitting Tabatha Gee as well with the tire iron, though Cline seemed to believe that Harris didn't hit her as hard due to "guilt."
 
If Chris was dragging bodies around, I wouldn't put it past him to use Dillon's knife after he was finished with him. He evidently had a reason to move the bodies so he was planning something, or trying to throw the police off somehow.

I am still no nearer to understanding what happened in the home that night, I can't put together a chronology of who was attacked first, who was attacked last etc,

I still don't understand why or how Dillen was wandering throughout the house during the murders,

I am just very confused
 
I really don't think we will ever know exactly because the only person that knows is Chris, and he cannot tell the truth to save his life! I wonder since Illinois stopped the Death Penalty, so Chris did not have access to the Death Penalty Fund, who is paying for his defense team and his expert witnesses?

here's my thoughts based on Jason's testimony combined with the cellmate:

CH and JH went out drinking, they smoked some weed and at some point got hold of some blow. Al coked up and in the wee hours CH decides he want sex. He contacts numerous possible partners and gets no positive response, they head out driving the backroads, stop at one females house who is not available and then decide to swing by the Gees in hopes of scoring some more weed to help them come down. CH is still horny, talks about how Justina, minor sister of his ex has had a "thing" for him. JH stays back near the vehicle, CH knocks on door. Rick answers and is understandably upset that CH is coming here at 3ish in the morning all coked up and looking for weed. they have words, CH attacks. Dillen, maybe up, maybe a light sleeper, hears the ruckus, comes out and sees, grabs knife and tries to defend Rick and fight off CH. CH attacks him brutally and they struggle their way upstairs. Dillen either jumps or is pushed out the window. Dillen, mortally wounded sees and speaks to JH "bubba Bubba, help - stop him" or words to that effect. JH does not respond with help but is paralyzed, stands there impotent.

Dillen goes back into the house to try once more to stop CH. By this time CH is upstairs attacking Ruth and the others who were in bed.

This is just disgusting and I do not want to speculate further. Reprehensible. My heart breaks for every single member of this family. I could care less if the Gees smoked a little weed recreationally. I could care less if they were swingers. What I care about is this family was in their home. Their safe haven. It was the middle of the night. These men, known to them, came to their home and CH brutally attacked and murdered every last one of them except the toddler who he somehow left clinging to life in a home filled with blood and her dead family members.

There is no punishment harsh enough. Bottom line, period.
 
That's a reasonable scenario.

I'd have to go back and read Jason's testimony, but iirc he said Chris hit Justina first. After Dillen came into Justina's room to say hi to Chris.
I still think there was a sexual assault of some kind, or the beginning of it. Chris didn't want to tell his brother the entire truth.
Dillen walked into the room, saw what was happening, hollered. Rick came in and Chris hit him, and Rick died in the nearby hallway with Chris beating him from Justinas bedroom to there (Jason said Rick was first to die). Dillen jumped out the window of Justina's bedroom to go for help. Saw Jason, got nothing, saw all the neighbors lights off and knew there was no time.

So Dillen went back in to try and save someone, grabbed a knife and went after Chris who was by then killing Ruth and Austin. With Chris chasing him, Dillen ran outside again where Chris hit him more. Chris went back in, Dillen went back in, Chris finished them all off. He was in more of a rage that he got caught with Justina and this all was supposed to go smoothly in his drugged mind, but it went wrong. That made him more angry and he did the overkill beating them again and again.

He also put holes in the walls with the tire iron. At least 116 blows to the family with a tire iron being swung by a 5'10" 174 lb man on cocaine, and "breaking the house apart" according to Jason.

But it's just my opinion anyways.

What is one of the stupidest defense moves ever is to blame Dillen. This kid had no blood left in him... not enough for a tox report.

defence has once again asked Judge to allow in statements Ruth and Rick allegedly made about Dillen being out of control, and fearing they may all be killed by him (not verbatim)

Judge says as they were made in 2007 they are too far removed from the 2009 crime to have any relevance,

defence next witness is an expert in violent video games and the effect they may have on people, plus they are going to show some clips from mortal comabat

the link between violent video games, movies or tv with actual violent acts has never been scientifically proven, in my opinion,

Nicola Gee is also expected to testify for the defence , she will be a very interesting witness
