I just read the sad news. Prayers to the family.
 
I am just heartbroken.
I just KNEW Julian and his family would have a happy ending...tears this morning.

I have been able to watch Fox in Chicago on here. One of the reporters said he just spoke to Jennifer's assistant and the assistant could barely talk because they had just learned that Julian was found. Don't know if it was actually confirmed to them. I just can't imagine the hurt Julia is feeling. This is just too sad.
 
I can't imagine what this child saw and how scared he must have been. I am so glad that I don't live in a place where gunshots are the norm in my neighborhood, I cannot even imagine what that would be like.

My prayers to all of family....
 
It is really heartwrenching news for this family. My thoughts and prayers go out to them. Bless Julian's heart for the fear and horror he had to go through. :(

I don't understand. I can't wrap my mind around why they took him and then killed him. If they were going to do this, why not at the house? A kidnapping for ransom gone wrong? Unless that Balfour did it for revenge. The motive is certainly there. The threats and his past history fit, too. He could have wanted the mother to suffer more while looking for him.

I am glad Balfour is in jail where he belongs. He shouldn't have been out. His mother needs a reality check instead of having the Rev bolstering her to believe her son is not what he truly is...a who has no respect for human life and has already proven he is capable of murder.

You have to wonder if this story would have had a different ending if those gunshots were reported immediately. Just too sad.
 
I was really hoping that Julian would be found alive. I had thought at first that he may have run away and was hiding because he might have seen what happened to his family members. I see now that his body was located in the white Suburban. I hope Balfour rots in prison.

GB the family. At least now they know that Julian will be an angel in Heaven and can give him a proper burial.

The TMZ link states that the vehicle has been there since Sat. and Balfour was arrested Friday night. It also states that it was close to the area where he was arrested. I wonder if it was really parked there Fri night but neighbors did not see it until Sat? I really hope that they find all responsible for this and soon, poor Jennifer and Julia

I wonder which side Rev Jackson will fall on now? An little innocent boy or a convicted criminal? This is why he needs to stay the you-know-what out of the media.

Interesting about the timing. Because I get the impression that Balfour was being watched for quite awhile before he was arrested in hopes that they (LE) would spot the boy. Balfour sure had motive and made threats though.

It was there and they just report it??????? I wonder if the reward brought them forward (very cynical I know). This was ALL over the news here and I can't imagine no one saw it. I can't stop picturing that poor little guy's face. Such an innocent.

Hummm, yes that is interesting that it wasn't reported until today yet it was sitting there all weekend! Someone noticed it enough to know exactly how long it had been parked there......

I think the reward is was for Julian's safe return though??

Also, was it found because it was reported or did LE find the vehicle does anyone know?

It is the same as the reasons for not reporting the gunshots. They don't want to become involved (which if they had reported it...they would be checked out to the max) and also become targets themselves. The same person/people who just gunned down two people could just as easily come after them and their families. It is the no snitch mentality associated with gangs and criminal elements in today's society. There is a price to pay when you become involved and they know protection is not going to be there. It is a sad reality.
