I wish we knew where she was headed at 9pm; it might make it easier to determine if she could have run into someone she knew, or just walked/drove into a bad situation, etc. Also if she was planning on coming back that night or not. I am thinking not, if he did not report her missing until sometime on Tuesday.

The paper towels make me think it was someone who cared about her. It's like when someone wraps the body in a comfy blanket instead of a garbage bag.

I don't think a random carjacker is going to clean her wounds off with a paper towel.

I agree with you about the condo owner. Who is it and what is the relationship?

Why do we think he cleaned her? He may have wiped her blood off him.

I didn't think he would toss something like that on the ground, if he wiped himself off with it. That would be really dumb.

I just assumed it had her blood only so it didnt matter so much.

Doesn't seem like this would end well. Someone in the area saw a crime scene vehicle being escorted to Queen Oakes and Ralson and a lady looking like the local coroner at the scene. Queen Oakes and Ralson is about 800 feet from where the van was found. :(

Not sure but I believe RUMORs from facebook should not be posted here.

Go to the Finding Katrina page, it's in the most recent posts in the commends.. I didn't know who SF was <modsnip>.

facebook reporting that the crime scene truck is at the tetterhal (sp?) 29 minutes ago...

While doing housework earlier, I was so grateful that we have facebook to let us know what people are seeing and doing because LE sure does not let us know. And we are the ones paying their salary!

I have family from Rockford. The Rock River isn't a stream. It's a river. It's not going to be easy to find her if she's in the river. It could take days and days.

I wish we had more information about what was found in her purse...was money still in it? How about charge or debit cards? What was her last cell phone call? Also, I wonder if anything was out of place in the marital home....

Praying for Katrina....I don't think this is gonna end good.

Keep in mind that forensics need to ID prior to letting anyone know who it has positively been ID'd to. You sure don't want to tell the news to the wrong people KWIM
