Messiecake...I can relate. Been there also. I have to tell you that I am proud of myself and you and anyone else that can stop being a victim and become a real person in spite of the our beginings. I suppose I am even more self righteous than the average joe. I have no tollerance for whiners. Just pull yourself up...get a job and don't kill anybody. (my sig line)

I can't help but see myself at this age and thank gawd that someone held out a hand and pulled me out of the line of fire.

This is a reminder that I have to pass it forward. I have a new foster daughter. Her life was very dangerous as it was for these little girls.
She is 13 and hadn't been in school for several months. Her mother was running the country chasing ex cons she met in jail. She came to stay with us and I put her in school 2 months ago. We just found out today that despite the fact that she is heart broken that her mother is not what she should be and was so far behind in school, she has made straight A's and has a great attitude. The principal called me today and told me that she will graduate from Junior High to High School!!! So YES, some people can overcome. We had a celebration. She is a trooper. I am blessed.

No ladies, I think the coroner was way off in the estimated of time of death. I think they died immediately. I'm just speculating because I have not heard anything yet, but it just doesn't make sense that they could have survived those kind of injuries for 10 minutes much less hours . . . .

The only way this gets plead down to no death penalty is if Hobbs pleads guilty and accepts life without parole. I can see Lake County wanting to save the $$ for something more worthwhile than this

About the time of death, they said on TV that some of the stabs were after they were already dead. I hope this means it was not a long, drawn out death for those poor girls.

Oh, me too! I do hope they didn't lay there and suffer. I don't see how they could have lived beyond the attack. Their injuries were too severe. I don't think the ME was certain about the time of death, he said that it was difficult to be very precise because of the rain and temp. However, I think he was way off even for the weather conditions.

It seems that Laura looks an awful lot like her aunt. It is difficult to see the mother in that picture, but appears older than I expected.

...after reading about she and JH writing letters back and forth from prison, how she wanted him back b/c she loved him...........

Really wow...I enlarged it and you're right...they are drawing a line in the dirt and taking his side by being with the defense...imo

Like someone else said, she was probably one of those women on the site of women waiting for their Lover to get out! sick women.

Thanks for all the comments on my new daughter...but, really...I'm just doing what was done for me. Also, it is mostly her inner strength that has help her. I also have a 14yr and 16yr old biological daughters. They are all in a club for young girls to realize their power and responsibility as women. It's called the Salt Club (salt of the earth). If it wasn't for my girls and their support I couldn't be the mother they think I am. lol Like I said, I am blessed.

i hope to God that the ME was way off, and that they died quickly..........or else we have to imagine that they couldn't move due to blood loss, and couldn't scream out after having their tracheas stabbed by that S..................O.....................B....................

this guy stabbed his OWN daughter , and another innocent child.............beat them , kicked them.......little girls! this S.O.B. ( no hesitation on my part !) is 6'1"...........
