The FBI's Merrillville Resident Agency Gang Response Investigative Team, or GRIT, is asking for the public's help finding 27-year-old Sidne-Nichole Buchanan, who was last seen at a concert in Tinley Park, Illinois, on Saturday, July 27.

Buchanan's family reported her missing Monday, July 29, saying she has never disappeared like this in the past.

Not necessarily what you think. They may have been deployed because they need boots on the ground. These people have snitches and are in the know of a lot of street people and main players in the area. I would not read too much into that at this point... imo.

Except that I went to see why this item that was posted 2 days ago elsewhere, was just being posted today. Turns out it is a Nashville news station. Guessing that FBI requested this be put out there in Nashville or TN. Also, the last line makes this even more interesting or scary... both.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a $10,000 to find a missing woman who was reportedly last seen at a concert.

Sidne-Nichole Buchanan, 27, was last seen at the concert at Tinley Park in Illinois on July 27. She was reported missing two days later and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to her recovery. Agents say she may be in danger.

Buchanan was last seen wearing a purple tank top dress, a blue denim jacket,and clear wedge shoes.

Buchanan is described as an African American female who stands 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She also goes by Sidne Buchanan and Sidnenichole Buchanan.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call the FBI or nearest American Embassy.

Snipped for focus: I don't recall ever seeing a request to contact an American Embassy about a person missing in the US before. Is there some fear that she has been taken outside of the country?
Or does this indicate they think some tipsters might be in another country now? o_O
Very mysterious. I hope Sidne is found safe but this really does not sound good! :eek:

I just noticed tonight, that Sidne had posted the video at 7:31 pm CDT on the night of the concert--it was "live." That concert started at 6 pm CDT. She must have posted the video during the concert. Does that seem unusual to anyone else? I couldn't find another "live" post on Sidne's FB, but she does repost a lot of other people's videos.

From the article, it appears that Sidne has 2 children. I hope she can be found quickly, and found alive.

I don't know what is usual for Sidne, but the live video isn't unusual to me. I see this a lot on FB when friends attend concerts, sports events, etc. My niece went to a music festival a while back and I think we got a live video of just about every artist, lol. :eek: MOO

Oh no -- those children... Now what can her folks tell them? They are both old enough to know "something" is going on that's not good. SMH.
It's always children who pay the highest price. Are they wondering what they did wrong to make her "leave"? My heart aches.

IMO, the FBI is focusing on Sidne and the man at the concert with her, as there has been no evidence of anyone else being with Sidne that night she went missing.

The posters on her page are all referring to the guy in the video to be the one that has her. Then someone posted his pic with his name on the bottom of the pic. He has a FB page, also.

I was thinking maybe the "kidnapper" is foreign and lives or is here for an extended period? His family and friends may live in another country? Their thinking maybe someone from his group of people (family/friends he may have confided?) may tip them off from whatever country they are in? I am not sure, but this case is very strange. Puzzling! Hoping she is okay and gets home to her kids.
 
Wish they would post more photos of SNB to help make it easier for people to recognize her.
Wondering if the perp is likely to show up at any of the other venues where W.K. will be performing?
