Another video and angle (from behind) of BC at the Thur. rally with companion(?), via local news media (apologies if it's already been posted):

Truly unbelievable. He was likely under surveillance at this point; I can't imagine what the FBI agents listening to this and watching were thinking.

Really does show us flat out how the suspects do love to interject themselves into vigils and searches. Sick. Jmo.

It must be a part of his fantasy. But that's not always the case. For example in the Aramazd Andressian case he fled town after killing his son, not participating in the searches or passing out flyers as did the victim's mother.

I think the only way she would have gotten in car with him was 1) she knew him at least tangentially or they had mutual friends; 2) he held up a weapon (unlikely bc she could have run); 3) she called an uber driver and she mistakenly thought he was the driver (have they ruled out any her calling for any ride share service?) or she was going to call uber and he told her, 'hey i'm an uber driver, no need to call - I will put you in the system right now' and because of his university id she felt it was ok; 4) he held up a police badge and maid up something to her about her breaking the law or whatever; 5) he said something to her that really appeared non-threatening, like maybe asked for help.

I completely agree with your theories on how she got into the car but wanted to make a point about Uber. If she had ordered an Uber to arrive it would mean that 1. She has an american cell phone, and 2. She had a phone contract in America for she would need to use 4g. When I was a student in America for the whole year I thought about getting a phone but never actually did. I used my original phone with UK contract meaning I could only make wi-fi messages and phone calls. This was a problem when I wasn't near a wi-fi hotspot as I couldn't contact anyone but I was always with people anyway. Just thinking if she hadn't yet got herself an american cell phone with an american contract she would not have had the data to call an Uber. Baring in mind most of her friends were Chinese she may have preferred to keep her Chinese phone for the Chinese keyboard, social media apps etc.

Or bus is cheaper and after she had already informed the landlord she was running (about 20 min) late might not have thought it worth to call for a ride. It was BC who stopped to proposition a ride for her as she herself was waiting for the bus. If she urgently wanted a ride and didn't have the Uber app it's more likely she was aware of calling taxis vs Uber anyway.

In the video in the Tweet I posted above, the attorney, who has consulted with Yingying's family says the family hopes the government will seek the death penalty.

He also says he does not think the family knows more than the public about where Yingying is.

Hmmm... a very close shot directly behind him. An odd place for a photographer or videographer to shoot from. Shooting from above or side is standard.

I was thinking the same thing...both the one from behind and the one from the low angle -- almost like some of these videos were taken by people who suspected him. I know it's probably just random and these are just a few of thousands of videos taken that day, but it is eerie watching the videos knowing what we know now.:freakedout:

True, but after seeing the bus drive past her when she's late anyway she must have felt fed up like she just wanted to get to the appointment. So eerie to think that if one thing had gone differently for her that morning, she would not have been in that place at that time. The way he pulls his car over without hesitation in such a bold way shows his intent. So evil. Is High School still in session or are they out for the summer? Just thinking if he had gone out an hour later he may have ended up with preying on a younger target.

Regarding his attendance at the march - as most of you probably know, it's not uncommon for perpetrators to insert themselves into investigations/campaigns like this, he might think it'd make good defence fodder - 'why would I go and support her if I did anything bad to her?' it also meant he was privvy to how much knowledge the locals/family had about the case, then he can know if he can relax or not.

Still, I don't understand how the kidnapper of a girl could surround himself by her very emotional friends, family AND the media, and not have a bowel movement in their pants. That's serious nerve.

I thought the angle the from-behind video was taken was very strange too. Wonder what that's about. I have a good feeling about LE in this case, if I'm honest, I think he's going down for a very long time.

Can anyone post his POF profile? It seems he has one.
