Chanute AFB is located about 20 miles north on I57 which yes, would be the most logical route to Wisconsin since it heads straight to Chicago.

When Chanute closed many years ago the buildings were sold to private buyers. There may be a few abandon buildings but for the most part, now it's just another neighborhood.

Please tell me more about these sites.

You've told us where you've been pokin' around!
I cannot tell you much at all, sadly , I know I need to go there to search for bear BC prints but I have almost no pc skills, haldf a Gb net speed, an older than time laptop running windows 7.
I do spend most of my time on terrorism and cT and CVE. so I am in touch with and follow many leading experts in the field..
Just in past hour one put these links on Twitter and I thought I should share them immediately rather than staring blankly at them for hours wondering whether they will break my laptop if I download them (seriously, it is that bad)

Therefore I present you with the gifts, hoping you can make good use of them.
Interestingly, I actually messaged the person asking where I can find his tracks at the exact same time..
Enjoy if they are useful.

MrsOBrien, has this been changed in past few days.. Its possible I did not see it before.

I had a gamer friend look at the list of games on his steam account. The only game listed that stood out to him was the game, Life is strange. I checked YouTube and there are many videos of this game. Mr. Jefferson is the character that got my attention. BC even looks like him. It shows on steam he only played it for 16.+ hrs. He could possibly have another account with a different name? This Mr. Jefferson character, is a teacher, he injects some of his female students in their neck and it paralalzes them, he rapes them, takes pics of them and eventually kills them. Sick!!

'The only game that stood out to him' meaning the only one with icky/demented content or meaning something else? And what about the games BC spent the most hours on... what was their content/plot?

Does anyone else think this might not be BC's first violent crime? It strikes me as odd that he can abduct and (maybe) murder someone as a first attempt?

He just seems to have done too much of a tidy job. You would expect a first timer to make a mess and leave evidence everywhere.
I think this may have been (one of) his first abduction scenario in the context of the Abduction 101 fantasy. However, I think he played out other violent fantasies that resulted in criminal activity, but he wasn't caught.

In my opinion, you and I would consider any abduction and murder exactly that - abduction and murder. They are all the same.

But I think for him, these fantasies were categorized and in his mind they were isolated within those categories. He probably kidnapped and murdered others, but with a different mindset and goal within the context of the crime.

Definitely creepy. But according his achievement list in the game, he only finished the first 3 of the 5 episodes of the game. Mr. Jefferson is only her art teacher at that point, per the episode descriptions. It's only the very end of episode 4 where this other side of the character is first revealed. BC may have been aware of that plot point but it doesn't look like he played through it.

WoW! I didn't even now such games existed. Who thinks this stuff up? Who wouldn't be willing to draw the graphics, write the scenes, publish it!? Who would play it? Well, I guess we know now. Ugh!

The game isn't weird like that. The teacher is the bad guy. I've played it all the way through. It's a choose your own adventure game like a novel. It's won many awards

The only game that stood out to him meaning, the only one he knows of in his list of games he plays that could be tied to some of the things we've been speculating about, like how he may have incapacitated her so quickly and the fact that bc had been a teaching assistant.

I myself don't believe these games mean much. I think his activity on the BDSM sites have more to do with his psyche and his apparent inability to distinguish fantasy from reality. Or imo, he's had these sick urges for a long time like probably since childhood and the BDSM sites and some of the games he played were an outlet. But, at some point those outlets were no longer enough and he had to actually do what he's always fantasized about.

I haven't been reading here about this crime but I wonder if I can ask a general question and get an opinion from somebody. When I read this man picked this woman up under the guise of helping her in her distress about an apartment rental and then "dropping her off when she became panicked about a wrong turn" and then, later, the man confesses to taking the woman to his apartment and holding her against her will; it just causes all kinds of doubt to come up for me. Some truth is often mixed in with lies and it seems to me this man may have picked the woman up, felt pressured into killing her as things went from bad to worse and THEN dropped her off. I'm trying to picture how anyone can get an unwilling person into their apartment (as he says he did) without being seen... without someone observing something. She was said to be prudent. I can't see her being tricked into entering that apartment either. I think YZ is probably fairly close by but no longer alive. I wish police would organize a few searches... such as in the Busey Woods Trail area woods (north) or down in some of the thick woodsy areas south of East Windsor Road. I am so often stuck by how close to the original crime scene victims are often dumped yet not found until by chance by kids or hunters, etc. My question: Has anyone else wondered if YZ went no further than from inside his car to a final resting place?

WOW!
Gobsmacked!

and what an insight.. I have just scrolled through the posts.. this really opens things up.. have a sense you're right about the 'more accounts' as well.
how did Mr Jefferson dress, were there any similarities to the fotage we have of BC already.. anything distinctive at all?

The patterns described are fascinating,I thought games were all about hand eye co-ordination or something.. i know nothing of this world.. bizarre.. dude really lived it, didn't he?

The similarities I see between him and mr. Jefferson are they both have almost exact facial hair and even the receding hairline more on the rt side of forehead. I think the visual similarities are uncanny. Also the way mr Jefferson is really cocky and I'm wondering how much bc acted like this guy as he spoke to his victim(s). It's truly disturbing to watch that mr Jefferson and listen to the guy. I'll never understand why it's necessary to have these type games!

You know the way we described his hold on the girl on the march.. were there any gestures?
I kept getting the sense that in his sm world that he had goals to be attained.. badges of honour.. progression.. constantly upping the stakes.. and I was astounded to hear a poster describe possible other atrocities as entities within themselves, though they shared characteristics.. I have the feeling of the stone from him too.. I cannot get get a handle on what it was that was driving him..he looked rather too laid back to be a highly competetive person.. but that could have merely been a persona, one of many..
Istill cannot see past a stone.. no flutter of life at all..no animation..

This is only like my third post or something, so I will do my best! But RE the game "Life is Strange"--

I am a huge gamer and have played that game all the way through. I actually loved it! And if he only played through episode 3, Mr. Jefferson's dark side would not have been revealed yet-- there are not really even any clues to it. When you find out, it is very shocking. All the clues point to someone else, so it's not even really expected. I mean, it's possible that BC watched a "Let's Play" on Youtube and saw the last two episodes and the ending, but if not he really wouldn't have a clue.
