Just a thought,

If my memory is still intact I am pretty sure there were books that were passed from one to another for those that didn't purchase them, back in the days of Laci and Connor. As far as I know that worked ok, so maybe something like that could be set up again.

Very good idea Prentiss! I wouldn't mind doing that at all! So, after I read my book, if anyone would like to read it just PM me with the address....but, I have to warn you...if I don't get it back....I'm coming to your house & I'll hire JA to help with my defense...lol :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I broke my self-imposed ban from this part of WS because it was killing me to see this thread coming up in the "new posts." I thought maybe someone got an advanced copy. I'll leave again until I've read the book.
I've enjoyed leaving ICA behind, but I can't resist the inside look from the prosecutor's side.

If a new thread is started say mid-day tomorrow, will posts in this thread discussing the book get deleted? Or moved?

Please say they won't be deleted. Would sure hate to put large amt of time in sharing book only to have it poof.
 
I just heard the promo for Wed's Dr. Phil Show.
It sounds to me like the phrasing about the psychological reports and the phrasing "never before heard" (paraphrasing) are edited together to sound like one sentence. I suspect the "never before heard" is about something else. JMO

Last night I checked my Barnes and Noble order (I ordered before the Amazon link was on WS for the book) and it said it would ship Nov.28th! That's the original date,so I quickly ordered it for my Kindle .This was close to midnite.

I waited a bit to see if it would download just after midnite,but I was glad it didn't because I needed to get some sleep.
So I started checking constantly this morning until I noticed today's date. I thought today was the 15th :banghead:

I'll be up til midnite again,just in case :crazy:
 
So this afternoon I went to Amazon to track my book that I preordered as soon as it was available. They have no history of it! So now I ordered it to be delivered tomorrow but I don't see how it will be. :waitasec: If I get two I guess that'll be my mom's Christmas present..
 
OT ,my in- laws moved into a new neighborhood about a year ago.My father- in- law died after a brief illness in August leaving my 80 yr old Mother- in -law alone.
A couple expecting triplets (now born) moved in 2 houses down from her a few months ago. The husband was arrested for molesting boys a few weeks ago .He's out on bond with just one house between my MIL and his.
He was involved in many town rec sports ,many jobs as coach with a Military College summer camp for boys,and was a principal for the upper school at a local church school.
He has triplets just weeks old. Every day new info comes out about accusations made over the years that went nowhere.This is much like the Penn State case.

Sorry to interrupt the thread ,but it's on the local news right now and just makes me so :furious:
How do these low lifes keep getting away even after the children tell ?

OMG! His poor wife!

I graduated Penn State 1989. Jerry Sandusky was rumored to be taking the reigns soon. Second Mile was a very popular community service opp for students. Mike McQueary, the grad assistant of course was not there yet, but I remember when he showed up on the scene as a QB because he looks JUST like my brother...tall and redheaded. I'm still reeling from it all.

I was going to get mine from the local library in Pinellas County, when I asked about it a few weeks ago I was told I was the 8th person to ask about it, but they hadn't made a decision to order it or not. So night before last I downloaded the Kindle version reader for my PC, going to buy that. I can't wait for the library to decide what they are going to do and then have to wait through 7 people after that :)

Isn't that a type of censorship?
My understanding is that ,if a book is not available at your local library ,you can request they borrow it from another library,so isn't the point moot?
