I don't believe so. He wasn't charged for those crimes until August of 2020, which means he was free for about 3.5 years.

His Facebook account supports this, as he continued to post up until 5 months before his arrest.

I'd love to know why it took so long to charge him, and at what stage the proceedings are in regards to a trial date.

I would not be surprised if they are working with law enforcement and it may be a deliberate strategy to put pressure on him. I would hope that it was unlikely the news station would go against the wishes of law enforcement and put out information that they didn’t want them to publicly reveal right now for ratings and website views.

I’m sure they would not report information law enforcement had specifically asked them not to because it is more beneficial to the news station to fully co-operate with them. It would not help the news station if they reported news law enforcement did not want them to which made law enforcement angry with them and would damage the working relationship they have in the future. It is far better for them to co-operate fully with each other

Reading the affidavit with pages and pages of redacted images is heartbreaking. So many very young victims.
The LE attempt to get information from those who connected with the shots account have to take into account some could still be minors and most are still older teens and very young adults. They would be very afraid of those redacted images getting out. They would likely be horrified to realize LE has seen them. Maybe LE leaked the affidavit to very indirectly put some pressure on them to get in touch, to let them know they may already know who they are. Hopefully if that’s the case, they very delicately handle it and with victim advocates ready for any young woman who may be responding due to this pressure and their fears. I believe in LE on this one and trust they WILL treat anyone coming forward with care and respect.
Any such young women who help should be considered heroes and be given full support in moving on with their lives after what was done to them. It is zero ZERO zero percent their fault for how they were scammed by this criminal when they were so young and vulnerable.
Edited to add: It wouldn’t hurt for LE to repeat their previous messages about how they will protect anyone coming forward. New viewers may not have heard that promise.

I’m thinking this is the case. KAK was sharing intel with at least one other person. He admitted to arranging meet-ups with multiple young girls. Maybe he attended some, BG or someone else attended others. All the girls know is model guy didn’t show up. Investigators want to know exactly who showed up to those meet-ups: KAK or someone else.

No I don’t either. Something else that stands out for me is KAK has admitted to contacting underage girls on Instagram and then using SC to chat. One of his profiles was Kline Photography. Libby was an incredible photographer and had beautiful photos posted on Instagram. The two photos sent by SC shortly before the murders, especially the one of only the bridge, had outstanding appeal in an artistic way. This has me wondering if Libby thought she had something going with a wealthy, attractive young man as they both shared a keen interest in photography.

One of the articles today also noted that he eventually started moving/chatting with girls on KIK after talking to them on Instagram. It was mentioned soon after the murders that one of the girls used KIK. The topic never gained traction but it has always stuck out in my mind.

That last comment gives me some hope that yesterday's request for information wasn't just a weird way of cycling through old leads because they were out of ideas. It really sounds like something has moved the case forward.

A search warrant was executed Feb 25, 2017 11 days after the girls murder and KAK was taken into custody so would it be safe to assume he was Indiana at the time? Strange that his FB profile states he started as a card dealer in Las Vegas the very same day the girls were murdered. We’ll just have to be patient and see where the investigation goes.

He was a big boy back in 2016, and he certainly hasn't gotten any smaller.

BG has always looked pretty stocky to me, but KAK looks quite a bit heavier than the weight range BG is believed to be. It really doesn't look close.

I think it is called the Kelly Avenue Bridge.

I am finding Highway 31 going over a trestle bridge near Kelly Ave. in Peru.
CJB haunted Peru as a low life. He was on the police blotter at least once for receiving stolen goods in Peru 2016-2017, among his myriad arrests in the area in that time frame.
Maybe KK turned his fish over to CB.
