I am not disagreeing, Orchid, but to offer a slightly different take on this: It appears that we don't (yet!) know much about KAK. From his social media posts it appears that he's (IMO!) a bit maladjusted and may (IMO!) be eager for social admiration (casual remarks about lush living in Las Vegas, champagne bottles and rooftop cafes in photos, pseudo-rapper language, etc., from the FB link). And he may be eager to hold authority (two job descriptions saying "armed security guard") I really don't think we have any good reason to rule him out as BG just yet.

I'm not saying he IS BG, not at all, but I don't think we can assume he couldn't be BG, either. The FB pages I scanned looked like they belonged to a bit of a sad character, eager to be admired, maybe not many friends, but from his (reported) confession on the CSAM, we can be sure he's dangerous to underage girls. Just MHO but let's not rule him out yet, says I.

I don’t think he can be ruled out yet either —- for what reason did KAK want the addresses of the victims he was catfishing? He was pretending to be a wealthy, muscular hunk who owned several sports cars. The minute he showed his face to any of his victims they’d know he was only pretending, so what really was his end game?

The only cases I’ve ever read about regarding online luring, involving sexual grooming and fabricated wealth end up as human trafficked victims who believed they were lucky enough to have met up online with someone rich, to share their wealthy lifestyle with them, instead he becomes their pimp.

besides what we saw from their actions speak nothing about a secret meetup.. lets try to make sense here, they instantly started posting about the trails and that did not seem like waiting for some secret date in the woods.. especially recording a suspicious male in the process.. it doesn't add up to me

I always thought it was an odd place for two young girls to want to take a walk without a reason to be there.

It is a popular place for kids to hang out, and people hike there. It is part of the Delphi historic trails system.

I have Snapchat and if you allow, all your Snap friends can see your exact location on a “Snap Map”. So I wonder if that played a role. They’re murderer may have been able to see where the girls were because it sounds like they were utilizing Snap while on the trails.

We haven't talked about BG's hat in a while. Does anyone else think that he or she can make out a faint American flag on the front of the hat? Some camouflage hats have a flag that is in grayscale or faint colors instead of bright red, white and blue.

I have not been able to find pictures of KAK from Feb 2017. I saw the concert shots on his FB but is it him? They are not clear but the person/people in those shots look thinner. If he was in LV or CA for the jobs he claimed to have there would be ID photos that we haven't seen yet. Not sure if he was there or just trying to create an alibi because shortly after those posts he was in Indiana. He seemed to wipe his pic off the internet.
Another note what made LE get a warrant for him back in 2017 and why did they wait till 2020 to arrest him? Hopefully LE took pictures of him in 2017. The fact that he erased his sm platforms is concerning and imo he is either bg or knows directly who bg is and was trying to cover his a.s for the csam.

LEO was onto him within days, and less than a week, of the murders. Data leading LEO to this person had to come from Libby's phone.

Currently, KAK is not a POI, att, but LEO is pushing him into the public's eye nearly five years later for the purpose of establishing contacts with Anthony_shots.

It's possible KAK was not the only one with access to his phones, according to the disturbing 34 page affidavit docs. He had been sharing vital stuff; such as, photos and videos of minors, files, email addresses and locations of young people on every one of his phones.

JMHO Poor girls. He makes me ill.

Whether this awful man has anything to do with Abby and Libby, unfortunately I have doubts. But I am feeling sorry for Both Libby and Abby's families now, as this new info could insinuate that the girls were meeting boys online which might be construed in a negative light, but which might not be true at all.

Agreed. This could be plenty of nothing. It looks like the favorite to be plenty of nothing. On another site I saw mention that the media got hold of this story and was about to release it. But as courtesy they tipped authorities beforehand.

If true, that means law enforcement had absolutely no intention of releasing anything. Nothing is happening in regard to Delphi. But once they sensed the inevitable backlash if the media put out this story first, on top of the recent critical editorial in the Comet, law enforcement scrambled for an angle to get out in front of this story and make themselves look good. That's why they went on abruptly at 9:30 PM and focused on the Anthony shots profile instead of the actual name. They knew darn well the media would emphasize the actual name and the charges involved. They knew if they didn't go first the public outcry would be disbelief and outrage that this guy wasn't charged immediately in 2017, after conceding so many offenses.

Damn shame for the families. It does heighten interest level in the short term. But if this led nowhere in early 2017 it likely leads nowhere now. It is faulty to assume the girls were catfished. This guy knew he was screwed because a nearby double murder would send waves of focus and assumption toward local creeps like himself. That's why he's watching the case unfold for 10-12 days. Gauging his vulnerability. He's running and returning. He's deleting and reinstalling. He's worried about some accounts but not others. He's not connected to Delphi but law enforcement is desperate for a name and vigilantes are desperate to take any predatory behavior and assume as Bridge Guy.

And regarding the latter he was absolutely correct, albeit nearly 5 years later.

Too too true. I just read through the 34-page probable cause document, and it is absolutely sickening. I don't have words powerful enough to describe how appalled and nauseated I am by some of that information. :- ( I hope while he was free between the 2/25/17 interview and his eventual arrest, LE had a very good eye on him to prevent other children.

Timeline to consider in the mix......

Two nights ago, ISP issues a surprise call for info on an Instagram profile.
Since then, national media pics up the Delphi story like they never have in recent years (NBC, CNBC, CNN, etc.)
Today, Instagram CEO appears as scheduled at a Senate hearing, where he was always expected to face questions about the dangers of Instagram in the hands of children.

Yes, the California Club is downtown near Fremont Street and across from the Union Plaza and bus terminal. Hawaiian is indeed a major emphasis. That's why I've always wondered if the Las Vegas Jane Doe 1982 found dead in a bathroom stall at the bus terminal might have been Hawaiian. Her appearance suggests it. I have a feeling that case will be solved in 2022.

I’m reading back through thread 1, a couple of points to note, it was widely speculated they were catfished and going to meet a boy, and on February 15, when they announced the ID of the girls and COD as homicide they said there was no threat to the public.

Regarding the second point, we are 5 years down the road with no arrest for their murders, which doesn’t necessarily mean the killer is free if he was arrested on a different charge and they’ve just been spending their time building a solid case, which could mean the urgency for the news release 2 days ago is because someone is about to be released. (Holy run on sentence, sorry)

I could very well be misinterpreting the affidavit, but I get the sense that maybe KAK was already on the FBI's radar for contacting juveniles, even before the murders. So the FBI gave this information to the ISP. IDK...

I can't quite forget how LE said the two girls had recorded themselves on the trail that day doing girl talk stuff, and their reactions at the end of the bridge. I just don't think any of it sounds like two girls planning a meet-up. Otherwise, that might be a very obvious topic of conversation, I would imagine. But that's jmo.

It was stated that KAK would try to get young girls' addresses. If he was in contact with either Delphi girl, my concern with KAK is that maybe BG (if BG isn't KAK) got AW's or LG's address through KAK and maybe there was an unknown stalking situation going on. Maybe they were followed to the trails that day, rather than a meet-up. Jmo.

I think you’re correct that the FBI was checking this guy out before, but LE still had to have some kind of probably cause to get that warrant signed. I would love to know what exactly that was.

If I remember correctly, Chadwell had some ties to Peru .. either an arrest or had lived there at some point. I am not sure how to find that info on here but I remember it being discussed.

Wonder about that regarding timing. Chadwell has been behind bars for quite a while now. Could be nothing or could be something big if they are connected. Especially when police issued two sketches. But that said, LE has said they are confident it is one person at the scene.

Did he truly work those places…if he was living with his father when police arrived to search the home.

This whole Anthony_Shots thing could be nothing directly connected, but still might be helpful to solving Abby & Libby's case in another way if not leading to the killer. More clues or another angle to look into. I wouldn't discount it. These other victims need justice too, even if it doesn't solve Abby & Libby's case.
