Easy to say… but I feel I may have seen RA at that presser. I can visualise someone like him near the flip charts. Anyone?

It wouldn’t surprise me if he was, but that doesn’t prove anything in itself other than it was an attempt at appearing interested and innocent, blending in with all the other locals who attended. Just as much could be read into a nonattendance, yet the fact boils down to he either was or wasn’t present.

any profilers chime in on this? it seems odd that he just started as well. Don't they start much earlier in life?
I imagine we'll start hearing from them once more details are released. His background information is bare bones right now, as are the case facts. It's those things that profilers use to shed light on these guys.

But yes, serial killers typically start killing in their late 20s to early 30s. This guy doesn't meet the definition as far as we know, but I think he behaved as one.

I would expect him to be there and kacking it, which I’d be fascinated to see.

Underhill said he recognized Allen as a fairly frequent customer of the pub he manages.

“I would talk; he wouldn’t say much. He seems like a normal guy,” said Underhill. “One of my servers was telling me that he wouldn’t speak much.”
From your link, is it unusual for both of the girls families to speak at the this type of presser? I do wonder now if he confessed. JMO

I want to put it out there that I’m thoroughly impressed with Carter and everyone working on this case. I was impressed from the start but have to admit I had started to question Carter’s comments at that one press conference in which he stated there has been a change in the investigation. He seemed so certain of his words and how he was describing the murderer so I just knew it wouldn’t be long…but it was long and I started to lose faith. I began to doubt that LE actually knew as much as Carter made it seem. I started to believe he was just eccentric and there was little behind his words. BOY was I WRONG! He described this guy (if this is truly the guy) very accurately. Below are just a few comments but I recall others that match.

“We also believe this person is from Delphi- currently, or has previously lived here, visits Delphi on a regular basis, or works here.”

“We believe this person is currently between the age range of 18 and 40 (okay this was wrong) but might appear younger than his true age.”

“We believe you were hiding in plain sight.”

“…I believe that when an arrest is made — and I still think that will happen, that we’ll be able to lay those two sketches over one another and remove them and find the face of the killer.”

Now, I’m curious if he was accurate about these comment:

“We likely have interviewed you or someone close to you.”

“We are confident that you have told someone what you have done, or at the very least they know because of how different you are since the murders.”

“No, and I hope one day [when the case is solved] that everyone knows what we know, and I think you’ll be surprised.”

All taken from press conferences, interviews, and this link Indiana State Police leader on Delphi murders: 'I wish we could tell people what we know'

I want to say that I’m sorry for any doubts that I had but have always supported LE conducting this investigation.

All IMO

Excellent summary! LE either already had RMA high on the suspect list at this time or Carter is psychic.

This press conference was held April 22, 2019 and long before KAK was even charged, one of the reasons I doubt the K’s are connected. JMO

Typically we don't learn much during these things, as they tend to be limited in what they can say.

As long as the arrest affidavit isn't sealed though, we should learn quite a bit about what got them here.

Hopefully we see that next week, when and if charges are filed.
Haven’t caught up properly yet so forgive me if this was covered already! but I saw this and thought I’d just say that I read the affidavit has been sealed. I doubt it will change any time soon unfortunately IMO.

Do you remember where you read that at all?

Just want to share a snip from a long interview with Kelsi in January of this year.

Kelsi said she has long struggled with the notion that her sister's killer could be lurking in the community around her.

She said she's terrified by the idea that she may have encountered the culprit on the street or served him as a customer at her work.

"I think this person could be anyone," she said. "Obviously at this point, it could have been somebody else I was familiar with at one point in my life.

"Maybe I just met him at Dairy Queen where I was at work one day and he came in and ordered a chocolate milkshake but I haven't remembered his voice yet for whatever reason.

"I could have met him, but we don't know and we don't know that it didn't happen either, which is terrifying.

"I could've walked past him on my college campus, or in the grocery store, or he could be sitting next to me in psych class.

"He could be working with people that I know or walking past me when I'm looking at Christmas lights.

"He could be right there in front of us and we have no idea. It's a frightening thought."
wonder if the girls and their relatives did go to his store :(

I live no where near IN but after this crime occurred, I heard someone say "down the hill" and all the hairs stood up on the back of my neck... I think that my eyes were probably glaring too, but fortunately no one noticed.

does this arrestee go to church? was LE on target with that line of inquiry?

The topic of religion was never proposed as a line on inquiry although people did sometimes interpret that to be, IMO it was simply a reflection of Carter’s and Abby and Libby’s family members personal religious convictions.

Speculating here, just thinking aloud, not based in a specific fact, just hunches and wondering.

IF this is a "ring" of pervs, I'm thinking KAK could be the tech guy, especially if others in the ring are older. Maybe he was in his car or elsewhere that afternoon and communicating with the girls while they were on the bridge? And in cohoots with BG at the same time, sort of stage managing the movements of the girls? Maybe when they encountered BG they still were anticipating meeting Anthony_Shots?

I can't shake that there is a tech/visual element to the crime. How the girls were manipulated and then displayed mattered, imo.

Again, speculation only. I am trying to understand the crime and not for one second pretend to have figured it out.

I still think the wife may have inadvertently found something and then said something about it to a friend not realizing the thunder that’d come down on her home. I think she found something on either a computer or in the burn pit.
Good point. I wondered if he was burning hard drives, sim cards, etc. It could be child sexual abuse material led to LE's interest in RA. And it snowballed from there.
