I lean more as to a meetup. The LE appears to me to know who this is. So either they have an electronic trail of the meetup or it may be the person that owns that property. If it was chance meetup, why are they not worried to allow people to hike the same area. I think they "know" who their suspect and and will arrest them once they have DNA or other evidence.

Not sure about phones int he water, one article had the phones pinging around town after they were missing.

I hope they are able to rush any DNA evidence obtained at autopsy. They need to find this monster......or monsters

Do the police have the girls' phones? I read that the phones stopped pinging, but I don't know if the phones have been recovered.

We did not hear that they found the phones.

The picture of man on the trestle - looks to me like man wearing ballcap and in blue jeans, a brown shirt with shirttails out and a hoodie under blue lightweight windbreaker. The way the jacket is laying on him it almost appears there is something beneath the jacket in the front. Something that is bulky and causing it to lay funny on him or maybe large items in his pockets causing it to lay like that across his stomach area. Not sure what I think of whatever the thing poking out of the top of the windbreaker is.

bbm I would think it might be a scarf.

I wonder how long the trail cam keeps the photos before it records over them. I would be curious to see if he ever was captured on the camera before this incident.

I think the person is just walking with their hands in their pockets.

Could be both a hoodie and a shirt. The hoodie appears to be gray.

eta: the more I look at it the more I think he's got something under his jacket, more than just a hoodie. Something bulky but not very heavy.

Still not sure whether it might be a female person.

I think he looks like he my have a tan colored a ball cap on backwards.

You see what ???

What have I told you about combining prescription drugs and alcohol and then getting on Websleuths ? View attachment 110095

LOL

It's what I see. Let me see if I can paint a better picture. If you went to the shop and bought say a few cans of beans, some smokes and a box of cereal, you carry it home in a plastic carrier bag. Say you were on a bike, you might put the bag inside your coat. My Dad used to do it. That's what I'm seeing, with the handle poking out

Wouldn't a local know that there is trail cams around if that is how picture was taken? Would a local be so brazen to risk being snapped?

Keep in mind, this is the only picture that LE released.

Most game cameras will take multiple pictures on each trigger. Most of the guys I know that use them normally set it up to take at least 3 pictures per trigger, and some will take as many as 9 pictures per trigger. The game camera will normally snap whatever quantity you have set within 1-2 seconds.

A "trigger" is something moving in front of the camera that cause it to wake up and take photos, activated by motion.

This may be the clearest picture in the group, and it could be the worst. I'll bet there is more though. You know how LE seems to enjoy releasing one tiny tidbit of info. at a time.

On right foot up photo- it looks like a beanie or a ball cap. On right foot down photo, you can kind of see it looks like it is the hoodie sweatshirt that is under the jacket- it comes up both sides from the back. That is the clearer picture, to me.

Those are 2 different pictures! We have been looking at the one with the right foot up. In the pic with the right foot down, it looks more like a shirt.

Two? Can someone please post both?

ETA: found them on previous page (still catching up). Thanks!

and we LOVE your maps skibaboo!!
WLFI Channel 18 News interviewed a neighbor woman this evening who said all the high school kids hang out there at the creek... body recovery area... and cliffs, to swim, party, and have their senior photos taken. It is a very, very popular party place for the high school and Junior High age kids that "everyone" knows about. (paraphrased). ...No trail cams that I'm aware of. ...Alot of rival gang kids/fights due to very diverse ethnic population now working at hog processing plant. Also alot of hidden internet trolls locally with division of Old Order G.B. Church mbr's... This is no longer a little farm town!

From what I know of trail cams, the flash drive/memory stick just fills up and the camera stops recording. There is no "recording over" until the flash drive is erased and put back in.

I think this man is wearing a camo baseball cap.

I camouflage my cameras to the point that you can't even notice them from a distance. You mount it to a tree and then you bunch up branches and limbs around it. You would have to be standing within 10-15 feet to even see the camera and the box holding it.

This shot looks like it was taken from about 50-70 feet away.
