Wind just annoys the living daylights out of me when it blows continuously, and sounds like it's taking my roof with it as it roars through. It's been continuous, and roaring, tonight and now into the morning, on this side of the map, and has just now turned into a tornado watch. :gaah: So, I figured since I was awake, I'd try and do something constructive.

Lol at first I thought you were being poetic and that rumors/dead ends were replaced with wind.

I said a long time ago that the statement the property owner made while being interviewed raised questions in my mind...something like, who'd have thought those girls would be murdered right here in my backyard. The police have never said they were murdered there. There is always some truth in the way people say things even if they are lying.

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT and don't discard this as a possibility, also read the whole post before jumping to conclusions! This is Websleuths after all and I just want justice for Abby and Libby... more than anything.

I don't think that it's just a mere coincidence that their bodies were found on this person's property and he wasn't home the day they went missing (I am not saying he is the suspect but perhaps a relative of his). I'm happy for all the billboards in all 46 states and all but BG is definitely from the area. He was comfortable enough to kill 2 girls in broad daylight because he knew it was desolate, no one would hear/see anything, he also took them to another area (he knows this place very well). Since property owner wasn't home, maybe a cousin or friend went to 'house sit' or feed his pets, etc and decided to take a hike and saw the girls. He left them on that property and walked up to the home, showered, cleaned himself, changed (since no one was home, no one saw him cleaning himself or anything suspicious) and then he left. In the interview given by this man he is also wearing a camo hat (relevant to those who think BG is wearing a hat), a blue jacket, 'dad' jeans, so this just tells that he associates with people that dress similarly. Again, I AM NOT SAYING that this man has anything to do with it, but perhaps a relative, friend, cousin... etc. He is very old too and sometimes old people forget or aren't mindful of small details so maybe he hasn't been able to help with any information but I am sure something weird is going on here. My gut instinct just tells me so. Most of the time people expand too far or think too hard and the answer was right under their noses the whole time. Maybe the answer is just right in front of us, maybe this is why the suspect hasn't been caught yet because the search is so broad. I believe he is hiding in plain view; no one has noticed or would think that he would do that. Or he's a loner and not a lot of people know him.

He might have just assumed since they were found dead on his property.

Interesting find, I haven't seen this yet. Very odd indeed.Interesting find, I haven't seen this yet. Very odd indeed.

The property right across the creek also had an issue. The ower called the police on her son for B&E. I said from the beginning that I hope he is not involved. His Mom and Dad were always good to me.

Well. At least we think as LE that the person is 6'ish 200lbs-ish

I think it depends on what you mean by mentally ill. Most people with diagnosable mental illness are more likely to become victims of crime than to be perpetrators of crime.

I think the perp is a sexual sadist, which is technically diagnosable as part of a sadistic personality disorder, but I don't think the perp is schizophrenic or bipolar or depressed, or any other number of mental illnesses. I think he's an evil, depraved, sadistic pedophile. JMO

Are some people born this way? By that I mean do some people have brains that are wired wrong or have some kind of chemical inbalance? Or did some type of childhood trauma cause this?

Too many posts ago to find the link, sorry ...i can't help thinking about LE alluding to the BG possible hitchhiking, where did that come from?
I wanted to discount it, it sounds mad...however are we giving the perp too much credit for being clever and he is really a transient and mentally ill?

Hope this helps.Poster dotr linked this several threads ago.
In fact I have several stickies that reference his/her posts.

He wishes ;)

LOL sorry kidding. I think we just share a similar sense of humour. The harder the case is, the more it comes out for me, it's a coping mechanism.

I don't know, but with the case of Charles Whitman (mass murderer), a pecan sized tumor was discovered during his autopsy, which may have contributed to inability to control his emotions and actions. I suspect at least with some killers, it's a mixture of both nature and nurture?

Sounds very similar to the one I created for Libby and Abby yesterday...

Here's mine.

It will be interesting to see how close I am to the actual offender once he is caught.

The killer in this case will be a White male, aged between 18 and 40 with a median age grouping at 28 years old.

He is not married or in any significant relationship.

There is a strong possibility that he lives with parents, possibly due to not having a job.

If he does work it will be at unskilled labor such as construction labor or fast food industry.

People who know him consider him unusual in manner and chances are strong that he is a drug or alcohol abuser.

He probably attempted relationships in the past but was sexually inadequate.

He may be a pedophile who took liberties with children in the past, not necessarily rape.

He is either a stranger or an acquaintance to one or both of the girls, but not a friend of the family.

He will have encountered the girls while doing normal activity such as hiking in this instance and he will have initiated contact by deception or con.

Chances are that he lives in the area or within reasonable driving distance.

He likely gained control of the girls by direct physical assault.

He will have bound the girls as a form of control and a sexual element of bondage.

Cause of death most likely strangulation.

There is a good possibility that he returned to the body disposal site, possibly as a searcher.

The murder site in 72% of these cases is within 200 feet of the body disposal site.

Gunther, just wanted to make a quick note to say thanks for your silly profile avatar. It made me LOL. It's a funny little bright spot when reading so much sad, depressing stuff about this case.

Pretty spot on anlysis, too.

Studies of psychopathy and sociopathy have shown that it appears some people are born this way. There is a genetic link for psychopathy and sociopathy, but my understanding is that there needs to be a trigger for the psychopathy to present in most people. Also, many, maybe most, sociopaths are not murderers. We all know some sociopaths and work with them, etc., and they don't kill us or anyone else.

But I'm not a psychiatrist. All of this is based on research I've done on my own and my own opinion.

Fellow members please remember that it's best to report a post to a moderator instead of "feeding the troll". If you see posts that are against the rules "just do it". Obviously there are people who feel the need to be "a part of the sleuthing", even if it's just by reposting their posts from a previous thread; just ignore and report them too.

Don't forget about the game room; where you can take a break.

Here's a list of people currently missing in Indiana.... Lots of young/teenage women on this list.

http://www.missingandunsolved.com/indiana/
So. Who wants to do homework with me?
From that list i would like to:
Map all the missing on list
Timeline sheet of missing, list in order of date
See if they are friends on sm or if they have friends in common
Not sure I can do it all myself

I'm at the point where I'm wondering if the photo we have of BG show him in disguise.
So that rather than someone becoming suspicious when their loved one started wearing a tux, or shaved their mustache, or burned all their hoodies, he simply shed those 'false' items from the photos, and returned to his norm and no one's the wiser.

I'm having a hard time reconciling the likelihood that he is from the general area and that no one recognizes him.

We've gone so long without an update...it makes me wonder if they've had any credible leads. I'm getting more and more discouraged by the day. I might need to step away for a few days because I have found myself either on this webpage or on the facebook page all my waking hours. I can't figure it out. I don't know.

I do foresee a 20/20 or Dateline murder mystery.
