There is a road down there however I believe it's a private driveway. I would still like more information on it. Is it a known drive that random people go down to go fishing? Is it marked private no trespassing? Not that that would do any good. So many questions!
If you watch the video posted by "No It's Not", you can very clearly see the road that is close to the south end of the bridge.

Personally, I have serious doubts this was even a sex crime. There has been nothing reported that would lead me to believe that it was, and some things reported make me think that it wasn't. For example, that LE suspected foul play. If they had been found raped/naked there would be no reason to suspect anything, they would know.

As for the DNA, I suspect they are running the DNA found on various items at or around the crime scene and not necessarily positively linked to the crime - trash etc. I remember seeing little flags next to such items in one of the pictures #1nana posted.

I want to believe it isn't a sex crime. However, a journalist on Facebook posted that he or she saw girls' clothes near the creek. I can't seem to find the link to that post, but I'll keep looking. If someone has that handy it would be great.

There was a report from a local reporter of the girls' clothing being found in the water nearby where their bodies were found.

Yeah but they mark the spot where her photo was taken at the OTHER end of the bridge. The end closer to the water. And I just don't see a road down by the water. At the opposite end of the bridge, yes, I see a road. But to go from that road to down by the waters edge you'd need to be off roading and I doubt a car could get down there with all those trees in the way. IMO

Hi Nin!!! :seeya:

Could be Harley Davidson Logo, perhaps??

Hi BCA! The logo - if it is a logo - could be just anything. That said, it strikes me more, what a younger person would be wearing, say 20s through 50s as opposed to 60s through 70s. The Harley logo would clearly be an exemption IMO.

If this guy was local, chances are the logo may be work related. That is really the reason I posted it. If it is just one of those scull- flowers- superheros- etc. logo, possibilities are endless. Perhaps it is brand related, like Under Armour or so, like it has been suggested before.

Maybe I'm turned around but the road I'm talking about is at the end of the bridge close to the water. It is a short walk. I definitely don't think he drove his car closer to the water but could see him parking there and leaving from there.

This picture was shared on Facebook. This is the trail leading from the back of the cemetery (where no trespassing sign is) down to the river where the girls bodies were found. So it appears this is a well traveled trail.

LE will use or create a certain path too, when accessing a CS, so that nothing gets trampled over or missed or added. Just saying -Nin

This makes me wonder if he didn't park on this road on the SE side and try to get them in his car? Down the hill? Then they made a run for the creek, and he captured them on the other side? Was furious at this point and gave up on getting them to the car? I don't know, JMO

Libby chose to film him cautiously instead of running away because there wasn't yet a sense of danger, merely a sense of unease that she couldn't quite quantify at the time.
IMO

(In response to some who have queried why the girls didn't run away when they saw him on the bridge).

I think she filmed him because he had already threatened them. That is, the footage is post-abduction, not pre-abduction.

OK yes, there is a road. BUT all those video demonstrations we've been looking at shows that her picture was taken all the way down the other end of the bridge by the water where that road is NOT located. Unless I'm seeing it wrong. LOL Let me see that video again.

It appears to go to that one home, probably a no trespassing sign/ private drive sign where the splits off the rd that continues. I would imagine that folks what to go there to access the water. In reference to the well worn path behind the cemetary i would imagine that path (well worn is/was also used to access the water, i also noticed the oak tree on the right of the path is worn from deer rub, so also used by wild game, the path of least resistance. Jmo

Specifically he said "From 75 yards away I could see girls clothing", not "the" girls' clothing. This report has never been substantiated.

Did not know that was possible. Creepy if that was the case.

Yes, my husband has this feature set up and anytime he sends a text / makes a call / takes pictures... it shows up on his ipads and other apple devices at home.

This makes me wonder if he didn't park on this road on the SW side and try to get them in his car? Down the hill? Then they made a run for the creek, and he captured them on the other side? Was furious at this point and gave up on getting them to the car? I don't know, JMO

Do you mean the south east end?

Does anyone happen to know offhand whether it is common for police to not report rape/sexual assault of murder victims if the victims are found dead and it happens to be the case? When the perp is still unknown and at large, would the sexual assault/rape component of the crime be withheld?

As far as I'm aware it is on a case by case basis, especially if it's a sensitive case. They may feel as of now that information is not pertinent but may release it later if/when they have more evidence.

This kid doesn't look old enough to be legally vaping. Looks like he's maybe 14 years old. Or is it just me? Besides, his entire head should be shrouded in some sort of material that doesn't allow the vapor to escape. That way, he'll get the full effect and not fumigate those around him. Would have to have eyeholes, though, so he could see.
So I wake up and this is the First random post I fall into.

You guys have a party while I was sleeping? I don't want to Eff with anyone's theory, but our guy looks so regular joe, mid America, boot stomping. I don't see him as a vaping sort of guy. I'm here in New Yawk and my husband is straight up blue collar.

He dresses just like BG unfortunately, anyway they think vaping is sissy, poser, yuppie, liberal (they use other words that my husband and I don't use because thankfully our knuckles don't graze the ground). My son is 16 and makes fun if the Vape heads at school. Idk, he strikes me to be more of a cancer stick type of dude.

Just a whispered observation from the "It's a Grocery Bag handle" camp.[emoji57]

Good morning,
Let's hope today's the day I stay caught up...
Jk, jk,

Here's to praying today is the day these beautiful souls begin to collect their justice.

Yes, that is true. He wrote that very soon after their bodies were discovered and I don't find it far fetched. The majority of murders of children, particularly committed by strangers, involves sexual assault. The motive for the assault may involve sexual attraction and/or power and control. JMO.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blo...rs-children-psychology-profiles-child-killers

"Finally, if the child victim is between 13 and 17, the suspect is most likely to be a close friend or a stranger, sexually driven, killing with weapons."
