Even though I think it would be awfully hard to run on that bridge with all the gaps and rotted wood, your post still gave me a start. What a frightening thought.

I'm sorry. I have thought this for guide a while now. Perhaps he is comfotable on the bridge. Maybe he has practiced crossing it. I don't think this was his first time going across. Would explain her thought of the need to record...he could have been running towards them. MOO

I would agree with this, but who goes to a place like that expecting to find young girls? That doesnt make sense. But like I said, without knowing COD which would give us a better idea of motive then I dont know if this is, which I expect it to be, sexually motivated then going to that area prepared makes no sense at all. Unless he knew they would be there.

Well, it has been said that the area was a hangout for young people. Sgt. Slocum even said his own kids would go there.

I agree with not taking the phones, if he didn't. We really don't know where they were recovered, if they were. Maybe he dumped into the creek assuming it would destroy them. We don't know what the searchers were looking for in the creek, but maybe they were just looking for anything that shouldn't organically been there.

I don't recall the exact age range that was estimated, but it's my understanding that criminals often escalate their crimes from, say, assault, to ultimately murder. I find it unlikely someone in their 40s suddenly becomes a SK, but I don't know,
I think hes a first timer, because hes a local Not to say hes never done weird things but I dont think hes ever done anything and been caught, his dna would be in the database and this would be solved already. I think the girls filmed because they recognized him and it was odd for him to be out there.

He could have removed the phones and put them in the creek thinking it would ruin them, but that only shows his laxk of knowledge and a desire to get out of there fast. imo

In my mind, the suspect could have been "sleeping rough" as in a vagrant that was passing through Delphi (maybe picked up a few days work somewhere). Maybe he was camped out near the area in an outbuilding. Someone had photographed another hobo type guy a few days later walking the abandoned trail system that the Monon high.bridge is a part of. Maybe this is a common trail for vagrants? It would explain all the layers, but not why he appears clean. It could account for him loitering on the trail that day?

That's the scenario I have for an out of Towner situation. I can't explain why else an out of Towner would be in that remote place with no prior knowledge.
The travelling community leave messages for fellow travellers scrawled everywhere. I have read some really interesting things about there own written language for safe places to squat, get a free meal, work and hostile homes. It's a sign language. Also there is a forum called Squat the planet, where people that live off the grid go to exchange advice and have meet ups. It's wild. (It's right on Tapatalk). They talk about many places off the beaten track. Places that include cool things like an abandoned railroad trestle is right up their Ally.

Anyway, just trying to think outside of our box. It's all only my opinion as usual.

What case???

Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I don't know who was kidnapped or the identity of the now-dead kidnapper. I haven't seen any updated information yet on this case.

Anyone see in the news about the missing disabled girl being given found deceased in a house in Indiana? Not sure where it was...would have to find it.

(I heard that the body wasn't identified yet. I am trying to Google for update.)

This just happened in Pulaski County, IN, which appears to be just north of Carroll County, IN. I'm not saying it's related to the girls at all, but it was an abduction of a young girl.

Thank you!

I was talking with my mom the other day, and telling her about this case. She had seen BG's photo, but didn't really know much more.
After talking with her, we both arrived at the conclusion that LE has to know who they are looking for. If they didn't, surely by now technology from the FBI would have been used to create a better version of the photo, or they would have had an authorized sketch made, don't you think? It seems crazy to me that they would literally beg the public for tips but not come up with a better image to offer the public.

Maybe they know who, but want some specific info from the public to tie it all together?

That's what I'm hoping for, at least. I can't fathom they wouldn't have been able to make that image clearer, or at least use it to create a sketch or two. I've tried to, and just can't.

I don't know. We have surveillance video in Missy Bevers' case, too, and it's been over 11 months since she was murdered and no one has been arrested. We know there is more video footage in that case as well, but LE isn't releasing it.

I'm not convinced LE knows who the perp is here. The other day they said they have 50-60 persons of interest.

Even though his property, the property where the bodies were found, was recently searched, police have said that he is not a suspect. I think we should accept what the police have said and leave the property owner alone until such time that police change their position.
Deleted. Don't have the energy to debate this again. It's all in the media threads

Tad Cummins from TN? No, I don't think so. The TBI just had a press conference in that case about an hour ago (after the Pulaski, IN situation) and said they have no credible sightings of Tad or Elizabeth.

I think the Pulaski, IN case was someone else and is probably not connected to Libby and Abby, but I would like to see a picture of the now-dead kidnapper to be sure.

Well, it has been said that the area was a hangout for young people. Sgt. Slocum even said his own kids would go there.

I've quietly read and followed here for a while and I totally agree that this person knew this trail was frequented by young people/girls, if it in fact, was.
I bet he had been there before. Knew area around it. Knew where to take someone once he had them so they wouldn't be seen or heard. Reminds me of the creepers that hangout at parks. That strange guy that seems so out of place, just watching everyone else. Icky. I've reported more than one at my local park before. These creeps seem to go places where they can find prey easily.
And this trail, seems to fit that type of place to me.
And I think this BG gave those girls that creepy feeling immediately hence the video.

We don't know that LE doesn't have a DNA match. I'm not in LE, but it seems logical and reasonable to me that DNA won't tell the whole story and will only be part of the evidence.

Per fox59 site the girl was taken this morning in what's being called a domestic dispute.

Why sorry? I'm actually not disagreeing exactly, I don't know what his gait was based upon the stills released. I'm just pointing out how hard it would be.

I don't think that's going to happen because parents of children who are abducted after completing a school based program about avoiding abduction will sue the school system.

They probably would. I think where this situation gets sticky, in regards to Abby and Libby at least, is that it almost veers into victim blaming. They should have ran, they should have fought back, they should have...For what it's worth, we don't know that they didn't do those things. We don't know that they weren't educated on these things. And we weren't there, in the situation, ourselves.

If they know who it is and have dna tgere would have been an arrest by now, they either dont have dna or dont have a suspect.

I definiteky agree that a better photo should be released, it is strange they havent yet.

For me, it's more logical to believe what the police aren't saying is possibly more important than what they are saying. It's easy to confuse details because I've also done so, but people are arriving at conclusions based on what hasn't been said and taking a huge leap in logic analyzing it, imo
