Autorefresh saved content doesn't always show up as an option for me. Sometimes the page resets before my text is autosaved.

Several of my posts were deleted because I posted what I thought the twist was in this case so sorry if I was thinking too far out of the box . Remember the police said the voice and BG picture may not be related. Hope we get some answers today. I know some of you read them before they were deleted. Also LE may have felt they were too close for comfort. I felt my twist explanation was plausible because of my past experience dealing with felons.

Owner of property where Abby and Libby's bodies were found is led into Carroll Co. courthouse on unrelated probation violation. #Delphi

The leg irons make me think there is more to this POI also. It will be interesting to see what transpires during court.:judge:

He's not a freaking repeat traffic offender or anything he's a literal felon. I'm sure they have standard procedure for felons. I still can't believe some people treat multiple DUI and repeat probation violations as minor offenses. He could easy have killed someone on the road even if he didn't kill anyone on his property. People like him are dangerous society should be protected from him, I don't care how much he looks like grandpa. I have twin baby boys and one on the way and I don't want him on the roads in Indiana, I can assure you that.

Note the difference in a routine traffic stop and a felony stop. In a felony stop you're probably going to see a gun aimed at the occupants of the vehicle, at least in my experience from watching them.

I'm surprised he isn't wearing a bulletproof vest after all the SM threats. MOO

It's not unusual to have inmates, no matter what their supposed crimes are, to be in leg irons when they're taken to/from jail to court.

I have work now. I will try and check back in around 530.

Thanks for all of the Twitter posts guys.😊

i think he looks so much thinner in his orange jump suit.

Would the sheriff normally escort a probation violation hearing? I don't know him on sight so no idea if it's him lol.

Someone way upthread or maybe prior thread, NiN?, made note of a change in weight but I was TO and couldn't see the photo to compare. People under a lot of stress can lose weight fairly rapidly. I sure can if I'm very stressed and upset. I'd be upset to be in jail, so who knows why he's lost weight. MOO

I think it is the sheriff (not positive). But it doesn't surprise me with such a high profile defendant.

Only my last line was serious.

I don't know if you meant that to be funny but I laughed till I cried and I still have tears and my abs (ahem, flabs) hurt! Maybe I just need to step away from the computer for awhile, ya think?

Oh my. I've got to admit that I am appalled. Wow, leg irons for a breaking probation offence for a DUI? I really hope that LE are prepared to lay charges in the murder then, since that seems to be what they are treating him like in public right now. jmo.
leg irons might be standard for transporting a prisoner from jail to the courts.

The leg irons are likely standard procedure, but does seem brutal for an old man without violent convictions or charges. On TV the cops seem to have the option of being a bit flexible :).
