IDK how to link...if you click #delphi it shows a video of him...well guess those that twitter know this already

We must have posted at the same time, I just posted it, post before yours :)

Are people still walking or jogging the trail- business as usual? Teens still hanging out there? Or has it been avoided except for people who visit in remembrance of A+L?

Good question. I do wish we had a local who could tell us what the tone is like, etc. around Delphi also.

O/T a little..Given his past convictions and he was already on probation, wonder what his chances are on not having to do some time, this time around. I don't feel sorry for him for getting busted drinking and driving or getting caught violating his probation. Although I do find it sad seeing someone put themselves in that kind of position, but I do feel sorry for his little dog and any other animals he has. I hope there are people who would step in and take care of them if he did have to do time. I'd hate to think of his little dog being sent to the pound.

Surely, IMHO, a family member would take the little dog if that came to pass.

First post, but if all of this stuff about RL is actually just about past offences/potential probation violations then I will be a little disappointed in LE's handling of this, because how can you expect people to come forward if you keep arresting people for things that aren't related to the crime? Obviously I am just sitting from the sidelines and don't know what's actually going on behind the scenes and how much evidence they have and all of that, so it's just my opinion, but I worry that somebody with information might see the show that LE put on when serving the search warrant at RL's property and then be hesitant to pass on information to the police (especially if they think it result in a similar situation for themselves).

LE might have very good reasons for doing everything that they are doing and I don't doubt their dedication to this case, so I don't want to judge anything prematurely or anything like that.

Owner of property where Abby and Libby's bodies were found is led into Carroll Co. courthouse on unrelated probation violation. #Delphi
Oh my. I've got to admit that I am appalled. Wow, leg irons for a breaking probation offence for a DUI? I really hope that LE are prepared to lay charges in the murder then, since that seems to be what they are treating him like in public right now. jmo.

Are there pictures to go with any of the media following this right now ? Where did you see that he's in leg irons?

The little stars means you're not to post it on WS. It must be from a blog which you read this. We have been all over this ages ago and most have agreed that it was just a personal thing chosen by each separate family when they were making their arrangements with the funeral home. Some may choose the date on which they disappeared and were presumed murdered, while some may choose the date on which they were found. Most seem to believe it is meaningless that 2 dates are listed (myself included). jmo

The URL isn't working because it's a website that isn't allowed here.

If it is, wow, how absolutely humiliating for those that aren't armed robbers or rapists or murderers or some vile creature that society needs to be imminently protected from, even while handcuffed and being escorted by police. jmo

I've had to go to court, didn't realize my license had expired, I've also went with friends for minor issues and the inmates would be brought in shackled the same way, no matter what their charges were..minor or serious. So, at least here where I'm at that's how they do it too.
