Again, going over the presser. They had print media (who was there for info for print) and television folks (who were there to get video on the news).

Again, they NEVER mention the award monies of over $230,000.00... and when asked where to call for tips.. They didn't even state a phone number for print of for television media.

as to why they would not do such? That to me is so basic for a presser to give phone/contact information for press, reiterate an award above $230,000.00...both tv and paper... why did they not do?

I am NOT criticizing... I just think there may be a reason that I'm not understanding what is normal and expected in a presser that is wanting more information.

Does anyone recall, or know where it was posted, somewhere in the beginning...mention of the public remembering a man walking or seeking a blue backpack that may have been tossed? I may not be remembering this correctly and will keep looking.

I don't remember them saying anything about a man walking but I do remember them mentioning a backpack but no color was given IIRC.

I know I already addressed this in one post agreeing with you, but I also want to point out you're not the only one to think that . if you read back through older threads there's a lot of people that wonder about the date similarities also. it is not so far out there like some people might think. We still don't know what we're dealing with here. so my opinion is nothing's off the table.

Thanks for your comments! Yes you're right. Many people did comment about the mirrored dates; this forum is where I first read about them. The scope of how much of a coincidence that would be has always intrigued me. I kept thinking, 'how could something like that just happen on its own?' I believe too that the dates hold great significance.

Seeing the mirrored date today sort of sealed the deal for me. In my mind these dates now all have a credible connection. But as I said, my interpretation of the significance of today's date may be incorrect. It may be nothing more than a coincidence.

THAT is what I was referring to in regard to MY over-active imagination. I often believe I see connections that are maybe not real at all. At times, I can be a real space cadet, so take anything I say with a grain of salt...

DELPHI, Ind. (AP) - A sketch authorities released Monday of a man considered the main suspect in the February killings of two northern Indiana girls was drawn in part from descriptions provided by someone who saw the suspect around the time the girls were slain, a sheriff said.

Carroll County Sheriff Tobe Leazenby said the witness saw the man walking near Delphi, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) northwest of Indianapolis, but only recently met with an FBI sketch artist to provide facial details for the rendering released by State Police.

Leazenby said he cannot discuss where the witness saw the unidentified man, who authorities consider the main suspect in the slayings of 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams. He said the witness saw the man around the time the girls were killed.

If the witness saw him walking it has to be the witness that saw a man and another couple on the trail that day so I'm guessing the witness saw him on the trail. IMO.

Does anyone else see a resemblance to a guy inmate arrested from Kokomo JDD for an attempted rape of an 11 year old girl? The eye brows, eyes, nose and facial hair are similar. I know we can't name him here or post side by side photos. (Apologies in advance if not allowed)

I am following another case here at WS, where the gal was right next to a murderer walking next to him and all over social media and MSM. She has never been identified, but you betcha, if he (murderer who perhaps was the one wearing a wire) has seen that video, the murderer knows who she is. Folks are scared to come forward :moo:

Longtime lurker here. I'm really confused as to why they would have included a hat on the subject that isn't an accurate hat? In the presser he states that the actual hat in the still image had ear flaps, right? What's the point in drawing a newspaper boy hat which could throw tips into a really crazy direction? Did the witness see him in no hat at all? Why not draw that? Did "she" see him in a different type of hat? Why not draw that?

I find this to be a bizarre piece of the puzzle.

Maybe putting a particular hat with flaps on could mislead or even allow the perp to say that the hat was unfairly targeting them and could be a reason for wrongful conviction. It is strange. If the guy had a cowboy hat on would they have changed that?

It has to do, surely. This guy has (allegedly) killed 2 teenage girls and if he was seen by someone and they were close enough to get a good look at him, he got a good luck at them too. Like they said in the presser, it's taken time because they were scared.

Maybe revealing the location could reveal information about the potential identify of the witness. For example, if the witness is one of only a handful of employees of a nearby business that the perp visited, or a neighbor of the park, or a victim of a crime - releasing this could both might put persons at that location into the media spotlight and/or might make him/her recognizable or known to the perpetrator and therefore at mortal risk.

Are there any pics available of any vigils that went on after the girls disappeared/were found? Perhaps he went to a vigil, hiding in plain sight.

I thought maybe he was picked up on a camera at a filling station, etc. around town on the day the girls disappeared , wearing the same garb. This witness may have led them to that video and elaborated on the man she saw. I pray she is under protection until they catch this monster. Just thinking out loud. Jmo I would imagine his head and face are now clean shaven!

IMO, I don't think it's him. The neckline is off, the nose is too narrow on BW and the beard is too full.

Beard and neckline can change. As to nose and facial... I failed at getting a side by side where eyes and mouth are the same height to compare...(the side by side we have are at different levels) still trying but failing to accomplish such.

The BW exposure occurred on February 10 and 11.

And was arrested on the 16th it says so they would have surely checked his alibi and taken dna right?

As excellent as this sketch is, why would the witness be confused about type of hat!???? That part doesn't make much sense to me unless they're trying to convey that this person is likely not wearing a hat now?

Agree, if the witness knows the eyes aren't blue but the hats not specific, is a minor odd thing too me.

The sketch doesn't show much of a jaw and chin at all. I wonder what his side profile would look like? Also, his eyes are fairly wide set. JMO

My first thought is what's the profile with a nose like that.


I'm so grateful for more information. The hat I am leaning towards that style, the nose not at all. How funny what you think the person would look like and it's a bit different.
The goatee, hat and face shape yes. Eyes not at all that I can recall or the nose. Yes it seems bulbous but I thought maybe wider.

Also, comparing it to flasher my only hesitation is the facial hair on that guy seems more grown in for just a few days later and a wider face?
