I think the family is feeling that same frustration.

LE has limited time and resources. Unfortunately, life goes on and other crimes are committed. Resources naturally get diverted.

The family is probably doing the right thing by trying to get national exposure while the case is still fresh. However, it's a bit of a sign LE isn't making progress on identifying BG. If anyone could get a sense of that, it would be the family.

Sadly, you and GJR are probably correct. I've said this before but I don't think this perp just happened to find Monan High Bridge that day. I think he's very familiar w the lay of the land. From that viewpoint then who is missing from the area? Who was back visiting and disappeared after 2/14/17? This missing person has a name and someone knows he is missing. Otherwise he is not missing and is still there. The family is doing all they can and I admire their strength and perseverance. All MOO

There's a man in the community that I thought was BG, and after the picture was released, it's disturbing of the resemblence. Though, he's a little taller. Nonetheless, I do believe in the "six degrees of seperation". Such a remote area and a very short amount of time..I can't see this as a coincidence? Am I the only one?

Really have a feeling about this guy but don't want to go against TOS. I waas really expecting to see a press conference this morning saying "We got him!" Wishful thinking, I guess. There was discussion up thread a few days ago about an FBI search at a home in Lafayette. Mods had to remove some posts and remind us of the TOS I'm assuming this is who you are referring to? The MSM posts are/were upthread. HTH

I'm sorry to say this but I don't think they have an idea where this monster is. I think they have DNA, video, his voice and limited information about where he was seen but no name or location. I would be delighted if I'm wrong. The girls families clearly want to do anything they can to help but what they are doing is with the blessing of law enforcement. They aren't doing anything that could jeopardise the investigation.

I just wish someone wealthy or a network would donate an advert campaign during a top show on tv shown across America, I would do it in a heartbeat if I could. If you could put the sketch on tv with the voice it may provide the much needed break.The person who can identify him doesn't know about this case yet in my opinion.

I recall in another case there was an organized social media event to bring awareness to that unsolved case. The many participants posted the info and tagged various media outlets so that the info would land on those tagged pages where there were thousands of followers. Think Dateline, Nancy Grace, news sites...

Somewhat o/t, I'm going back and researching our late great and dearly departed Foxfire's profile aspects of Gary Hilton. Totally different cases, it seems Glenn (FF) was especially active in these cases...one of FF's neighbors was a victim of GH....FF, if I'm understandijg correctly, states how much GH's victims varied...from young to old, male to female, black to white...and uses the term "no profile"...it seems FF participated in a memorial for one of GH's victims...

Again, I would guess FF would lean towards a highly intelligent, skilled, predator hunter as far as BG is concerned...

Greg I appreciate your honesty and feel similarly. As far as getting BG's image out there on screen at a big event I want to say Superbowl but know it would cost a chunk of change and hope he is in lock up before then! Big City, your composites DO look similar to me! Frustrated but ever hopeful I am returning for a time to lurkdom.:lurk:

I think BG may be taunting Police. If he has killed before or is a SK, this may be a component they will include in his profile

If he didn't know she was recording, he had no reason to do anything with the phone. She most likely had it hidden somewhere. He had control over both of them.

I've never thought this individual was very bright. More lucky than smart. He may have grown up there, or visited there as a kid. But there is enough separation from delphi that no one recognizes him. If his DNA isn't on file, and he's from out of town. He had more room for error than one might think. He hasn't been identified yet with pics, video, audio, and a sketch. This case is very frustrating with how little LE has released. I know they are keeping things close to the vest so they can convict him when they find him. But
You can't convict someone you can't find. IMO

Now, the girls' families are taking yet another approach to find the man who brutally murdered their teens in the woods in Delphi.

“We want to cover the entire U.S. with this picture so he cannot go into a town where there is not a flier starting at him in the face,” said Becky.

The family is printing and sending out thousands of fliers and passing out bumper stickers. Each one has a photo of the suspect, the girls, and the tip line phone number. The goal is to send them out in packets to people across the nation.

I am new at all this but love the way the thinking is going. Does that make sense, probably not! It makes me think about alternative ways of thinking.
