Does anyone have a link for a picture of DN right before Feb 13th?
I have been wondering about the guy reportedly hanging around the trail prior to the 13th pestering people and whether that really was BG now?
Also, from Martinsville to Delphi by cycle is only about 6 hours. Could he have been cycling or walking the trails in between sign in dates? JMO.

Sorry if this was asked, but did they find TW's bike?

Could a hatchet wound be confused with a knife wound? If it was used in a slicing movement vs striking? I’m such a city girl!

I'm not sure, but I would think they could tell pretty easily a knife was or was not used.

The silence is deafening. Really hoping no news is good news.

Me too. I understand that this is deadly serious and there is no room for error we will know when we know. I hope the girls families get told first and have a bit of time to process the news before it is public knowledge around the world.

One would have to ask "why" he would want to be cycling for 6 hours to Delphi in Feb in Indiana. We have found nothing to link him to Delphi, IMO.

There is a bridge over White River that he could very well have been living under. It's just over half a mile from the Morgan County Sheriff's office in Martinsville.

He seemed to be tied to the southwest side of Indy. Maybe someone can find out what that tie is.

I don't think he's the Delphi killer.

He also had ties to Indy and zionsville, which are much closer to Delphi.

And ties to "the woods" (in IN) and menacing people on trails (in CO). These aren't smoking guns that point to guilt, of course.....but I remain hopeful he is BG.

I understand your point of view but I think normal behaviour and logic is out the window with this guy. He has engaged in behaviour that a normal sane person would never ever do.

I am still pretty shocked to find our (possible) BG is so young! Upon seeing those first and second initial mugs I pulled up (before the CO mug was released) I immediately felt I was looking into the face of someone I somehow KNEW and knew well. This has really thrown me. Intent as I was on culling clues, I never expected to feel THIS way. Reading DN's facebook posts (while I realize many were fashioned to win back his wife), perusing personal photos, and finding that (to me at least) there seems less outright evil here and more a deep seated mental illness ... all has left me feeling a wish-someone-had-intervened-much-earlier sadness. Still waiting to hear from LE of course, but if THIS man is BG I hope his mental health will be addressed (to what extent it can be) and where a thirst for vengeance is concerned I'm not really feeling it, at all.

Woods and trails appear to be his thing. Of course he could easily have had access to a vehicle too. I have not ruled out a drug angle either. Since losing his job, home and family he had to be getting money from somewhere IMO. Lots of trails in the Zionsville area too. That day was a beautiful February day after all. Also, he had a whole week in which he could walk or cycle the trails.

I asked this my very first WS post months ago and attached an IMGUR from Feb.14 which was a screenshot <modsnip>

ISP just released a statement. I received via email.

I see that Agent Apricot has shared the link to the statement so I deleted the big long version!

JMO/hearsay but local folks were saying that the InTown Suites/long term hotel in Greenwood (which is one of if not the last known address for DN) is known for being a residence of many RSO's. I live maybe 10 mins from there on the Indy side and never knew that (it's in a fairly nice area) but in the comments on all the local news and SM postings a lot of people last week were saying they weren't surprised as it's apparently a known place where RSOs live.

Which leads to my thought... maybe he befriended someone there (do they do that, RSOs? hang out with each other? no idea) and perhaps that person had a vehicle and a reason to be in or near Delphi and took his bud DN along at some point.

Also another thought I had re: the sketch -- maybe it was a witness from the bathroom peeper incident? The detail in the sketch is so striking though for what must have just been a momentary glimpse I'm doubtful it is but possible I suppose.

MOO

Indiana State Police Conclude Colorado Visit to Investigate Delphi Murder Tip

Delphi, IN – Thus far, the Indiana State Police, with assistance from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI and many other police agencies have followed up on thousands of tips related to the murders Abigail Williams and Liberty German. Of these tips well over a hundred have included references to specific persons, some of which included photos. Each and every tip has been - and will continue to be - thoroughly investigated to determine any connection to the Delphi murder investigation.

Of the many tips being actively investigated, one tip was referred to the Indiana State Police about a person arrested in El Paso County, Colorado. This person, identified as Daniel Nations, was initially arrested by Colorado law enforcement on Sept. 25th and was later referred to ISP on Sept. 29th for follow-up as a potential suspect in the Delphi double murder investigation.

As earlier stated, each and every tip is thoroughly investigated, as was this tip, which resulted in two ISP detectives traveling to El Paso County, Colorado to comprehensively evaluate the circumstances of this tip. While the Indiana State Police does not, as a matter of practice, provide investigative information about specific tips, an exception has been made in this instance the result of numerous media inquiries made about this particular tip.

The Indiana State Police can share, that thus far, there has been no information developed to specifically include or exclude Daniel Nations as a suspect in the Delphi homicides. Both state police detectives returned to Indiana late afternoon of October 2nd and will continue to review information gathered over the course of their visit to El Paso County, Colorado. Mr. Nation does continue to be in custody of Colorado law enforcement personnel for local charges totally unrelated to the Delphi investigation. Media desiring more information about local Colorado charges should contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Media Relations Manager/PIO, Jacqueline Kirby, at cell number 719-323-8736, or by email at jacquelinekirby@elpasoco.com. It is important to note the Indiana State Police is very grateful for assistance rendered by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The Indiana State Police wants to remind all citizens and media, we are still actively seeking tip information related to the Delphi murders. To ensure tips are received and assigned for investigation it is important tips are referred to either 844-459-5786 or to this email address: Abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.com

Someone, somewhere has information related to the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German. With the latest media attention to this investigation, we remain hopeful those with information we seek will be moved to come forward with information that will help solve these murders.

More information, including the voice recording clip of the person believed responsible for these murders, is available on the Indiana State Police website AT THIS LINK.

Thank you for the update. At the least, DJN has not been excluded - yet. Interesting.

I think they are buying themselves more time in order to lock this case up nice and tight. (That is what I'm hoping, at least.)
