Well I think his lawyers are asking for a bail reduction next week so Stroup may look on it as a good investment. If DN's bail gets reduced to say 15k would that mean 10% cash and asset security for remainder? Maybe Stroup already has a subordinate agreement with a MSM player already set-up? A scoop for Stroup? MOO.

As the saying goes, if they fall for that one then I have a bridge I'd like to sell them.

This thread alone is giving them lots of publicity already. The bots are capturing every time their names are typed here.

Agreed - not even a little believable.There was nothing in MSM about scarves or this K rumor. What kind of people would display something carved into the chest of their murdered little girl?

This is why we don't allow rumors.

Good point.It's easy for us to forget that the video is more than 2 frames showing less than a second of movement. We recently (?) found out that LE played more of the audio of the girls talking about the man behind them for the families so it's likely that audio also shows more of BG moving/ following them. If so LE did not want to include that video because it might include images of the victims as well and BG is just in the background.

While we are tempted to rely on the sketch, LE arrived at the sketch from witness(es) AND the video.

Has LE indicated they (LE) also added their own interpretation to the sketch based on what they viewed on the video?

Apologies for not replying 'properly' with a title; this response concerns many posts about "the sketch" on this thread. Speculation: perhaps witnesses were interviewed again after some time lapsed, and yes, maybe shown actual mugshots. Could be that other possibilities than DN were included. Since his hairline, style and color changes...when preparing the sketch released, they covered with a hat. It would have been easy to include alternate hats for witnesses. Remember, LE said "ignore the hat" for the general public release? It's possible that a tip we don't yet know about triggered the 'DN sketch...

I disagree WADR. iMO if an arrest and conviction follows from the original tip, a reward would be forthcoming. If further tips follow leading to charges and/or conviction the reward may have to be split but ATM there seems nothing concrete, as stated by LE. Also, it begs the question, if he confessed, could he or his wife get some of the reward? Anyone know?

Absolutely correct. And, since no arrest has been made, the reward money could still be a motivation for KN, YouTube "Bounty Hunters", et al.

How I wish LE had video of BG walking on the path or even something from a witnesses view point that states something about his gait. It’s very hard to discern from the video what type of gait BG has because he is on the bridge. IMOO

I don't know specifically. My inference was that because witnesses saw him in motion and the video shows him in motion that it would be valuable in developing the sketch.
I can't see that LE would ignore the video in developing the sketch.

He said the sketch is "an artist's composite of the information" collected by all agencies involved in the investigation. Riley said the witness who saw the suspect was close enough to him to say that he did not have blue eyes, but was uncertain of his eye color.

I believe you're both correct. As stated by Libby's other grandfather, not Mike Patty, (see my prior post with link,) I believe he was just meaning that Libby had a lot of spunk and would have fought hard if she would have had the chance.

I doubt if he could possibly have had any knowledge at all of how the girls were killed.

It seems everyone LE has spoken with — and there have obviously been many — is considered a “person of interest” in a general sense. LE has made no statement to indicate DN is anything more at this point.

I wonder if the request for higher bail due to the Indiana investigation elevates him higher?

He really is a chameleon, isn’t he? The one mug I’ve seen where he’s clean shaven he looks like a completely different person! That may partially be due to him weighing more at the time of that mug but the facial hair vs lack of facial hair really changes his looks.

I'm doing some PI/paralegal work for a local attorney. The young lady in question is a chameleon. There have been a few social media accounts I almost missed because she looks so different! The change in the last two years is simply unbelievable.

Then with make up, without make up, dying her hair, curling her hair... the slightest change makes her look like a totally different person. If she continues on her current path and becomes a felon she could certainly blend in well and hide for quite a while. Some people simple look different in every picture I guess.

But I believe there WAS a picture posted of a blue jacket that was close to what BG was wearing. The picture was from DN's room. Don't recall how far back that was.... sorry - otherwise I would post it. Maybe someone saved it and will re-post?!

Also, maybe DN diguised his voice when he said "Down the hill" - making it a little more "deeper" than his usual voice. Just a thought! :thinking:

While TOS applies generally in threads, there are times when decisions to allow or disallow are case specific. In this case, the decision was made to allow discussion of that particular video because of the value that might be contained in KN's responses, not based on the value of the non-MSM source.

In this instance, we have no idea of the reliability of the source of the interviewer's questions (i.e. where the info about the "K" originated). The interviewer's questions can therefore be taken with a grain of salt ... you can choose to believe in his reliability or not. While there may be value in KN's responses, there may not be value in the questions posed by the interviewer. For example, had KN's answer been "oh that, well yeah, he's done that before", her answer would have been of value to us. Given she had basically no response, one then seriously has to question the value/reliability of the interviewers introduction of that specific detail. Could just be for sensationalism.

I have no expertise in legal or court language, but I believe his failure to appear for court or to register as an RSO would be warrants not investigations.

I don't know how to post it for you to see or if it against TOS for me to post it, so I will just have you try to find it yourself. Thanks to whoever made the original post of the photo.
