INDIANAPOLIS — Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears announced Friday that Larry Jo Taylor Jr. has been sentenced to 86 years in the Indiana Department of Correction for the 2015 murder of Amanda Blackburn.



So it looks like they did sentence him on the 14th & will not be on 12/2/22 as the court site said that you posted.
 
86 years is as good as life, unless he is eligible for parole at some point. I’m glad it’s over. What a sad case.

Well, I fell down on the job. I thought this was a done deal until his 12/2 sentencing. The court hasn't entered the sentence yet. Here's an update

All my updates are behind. I've been caught up in watching the Brooks trial, where he is accused of running over Pewaukee, WI parade goers last year. I'm going over my cases today and post any new updates.

INDIANAPOLIS — One of three men accused in the 2015 killing of Amanda Blackburn, a pastor's pregnant wife, has been sentenced to 86 years in prison.

Larry Jo Taylor was sentenced to 86 years this week after being found guilty of murder, burglary, three counts of theft, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, criminal confinement, auto theft and carrying a handgun without a license.
 
I was going to post the sentence exactly like it is in the records but there are 2 amendments scattered within all the charges. I can't determine what those are so I'll post this in the least confusing way (IMO)

Counts 1, 7, 8 and 11 all run consecutive to each other. The rest of them are concurrent to the first 4 I listed. Here are the consecutive ones:

Yes. He only has 2 left and those are the Hernandez murder and the indecency charges. There are no other court dates set for them yet.

I notice he has a new judge: Jeffrey Marchal. Maybe Judge Hawkins needed some help clearing his backlog?
