The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a 33-year-old Indianapolis woman are "suspicious," according to police in Columbus.

Jacqueline Watts was reported missing by her family members around 5 p.m. Shortly before that report officers were called to the 2300 block of Riverside Drive for a suspicious vehicle that had been left running with the emergency lights on. Police were able to identify the car as belonging to Watts.

Watts was last seen by family members a couple of hours before she was reported missing. She has family who lives within blocks of where her vehicle was located.

Her car was in S IN because she had just been at her MILs home and that's where she lives. From what I've gleaned on FB, it seems like this is very close to her MILs home.

ETA, I might be wrong on the MIL house--might be her parent's house.

Does anyone know if where her car was found would be a normal route home, or was the location where her car was found surprising or disturbing? I understand how her car was found was disturbing, but I'm wondering if the route made sense.

There was just a case with a guy (cant remember his name) very recently, that sounded like a very similar circumstance yet ended up taking off on his own will.. Hopefully this is the case..

News reports say Jackie's car was found about 150 yards from the intersection of Washington and Riverside. Flashers on and passenger door opened.

A lot of water and woods in that area.

She was dropping off her pets at her in-laws and parents in preparation for a trip to Washington DC that evening.

My understanding is that her car was found very close to where she last dropped off one of her animals.

Columbus police continue to search for Jackie Kleine Watts on the north side of the city.

Police say the car Watts was driving was found near the intersection of Washington and 25th Streets at 5 p.m. on Friday. The car was running, with the flashers on and the passenger side door open. Her cell phone and purse were found in the car.

The 2002 Columbus East High School graduate is described as a 33-year-old white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 110 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was wearing black stretch pants and a gray shirt.

Its all so strange. Its almost like she pulled over for someone she thought was a cop, especially with her flashers on.

Yes. She could have thought she hit something or someone flagged her down, and she pulled over.

I wonder if something was done to her car? Whilst at her parents house? If she hadn't got that far, maybe someone did something then followed? Could that be the suspicious circumstances? (thinking out loud)

I wonder which direction the car was facing? Had she just turned into Riverside from Washington or was the car found on the west side of the road next to field and pond? Hopefully something will turn up on someone's CCTV. There seems to be plenty of large, well-maintained houses in the area...
Such a strange case...very worried for her...

It would be helpful to know if there was damage to the car, and if there is ice on the water. Right now this feels like medical emergency or suicide. If she wasn't already suicidal, dropping off her rabbit may have been the final touch on built up anxieties or stresses leading to an emotional break that sent her over the edge. Unless her family is involved, I don't see how this could realistically be stranger abduction or foul play.

Ugh I hate when there is water nearby

She seems to be an animal lover. Maybe she saw a hurt or lost animal and tried to help it. Either fell in frozen pond or...

I pray she is found safe.
