I am fairly convinced that this person had no clue when he tweeted his location in Bloomington that he was ever going to be involved in this case. And this furthers my belief that JR and his gang may not be the responsible parties in this case.

Agree with the above. Its simple to come up with ways that this tweet is being attempted as some kind of alibi if you have convinced yourself that the friend is guilty of something, but to me, I read it as completely oblivious to the situation that he may not have even been made aware of yet.

Edit- Still no evidence that this is even the previously mentioned friend of JR's that I've seen.

I forgot to mention another thing that made me suspicious of his tweet is that it was not directed to anyone. He was just giving his status like a check-in on FB. I don't know how common this is on Twitter. He didn't mention that he was with anyone either. Anyone want to chime in please do.

I do not think this tweet fits the pattern of his other tweets. It is the only "check in" type of tweet. Only 6/25 are not @ someone. Of those, 3/6 are about sports (2 hockey, 1 golf). 1/6 is about Miss USA. 1/6 is a line from a Lil Wayne rap song.

Definitely don't have to tweet from where you are, but why write anything that puts you in Bloomington? Unless they're at this restaurant after they've disposed of a body.

As to your question, no, I don't think so. If you're getting at did someone help him fabricate a statement/story to give to HT, then no to the atty for sure. In terms of a timeline for Friday afternoon - what time was HT in class? I know I just re-read her account of JW coming to her class to get the apt key, but I forgot the time.

No atty def wouldn't help fabricate story. But say JR did contact an atty before speaking with HT does the version JR related to HT sound like something an atty would be ok with his client sharing.

It's a weird tweet in that I think he meant to put the # before the cornedbeef so that twitter would sort it with all the other tweets about cornedbeef. But if he was hanging out with JR & co. he was probably hungover, so it's a reasonable error....

I read it as a play on corned beef hash (#).

I agree with the rest of your post though -- I didn't find the tweet odd or suspicious at all.

To me, tweeting about a greasy breakfast after a night of partying = pretty normal. Going for breakfast and/or coming up with a corned beef alibi after committing a horrific crime? Not likely.

Of course, we don't know if this was the visitor or, if it was, who else was around that night.

JMO.

I'm not convinced of anything which is why I'm trying to question everything. Although I'm of the opinion that JR is guilty of something, it may be as weak as poor decision-making, but one that resulted in disastrous consequences. At some point in this unfortunate event, every single person needs to be held accountable of the role they played.

I'm clueless. Want to clue me in on the play on corned beef hash. Is this a drug reference? Because the Runcible serves several Kosher dishes.

No, corned beef hash is a breakfast dish, and # is a "hash sign" (another word for number sign)

:)

No, an atty would say to zip your lips.

Lots of people tried to read things into Dede Spicher's tweets after Kyron had vanished...she posted a line from a famous poem to one of her friends at one point before he disappeared and some people tried to make it out to be a sinister "clue"...we can read anything into anything, IMO...

He's NOT involved in this case, that we know. And if you take the totality of his tweets -- he has nothing to hide.

Hi Tony
Thanks for all you do. Would love to know how you stitched this together, but can accept due diligence here. Without getting into specifics, do you have a single theory of what happened? I know you have some strong suspicions of individuals, I read. I'm not asking you to share that theory but do you have one?

thanks

Ya know, I have some compassion for the POIs, their friends and their families. They really are being dragged through the mud in the "court of public opinion" online.

Many seem to think that "remaining silent" and "lawyering up" is almost an admission of guilt.

I think that keeping one's mouth shut, hiring an atty, and going into hiding may also be an admission of fear.

Fear of something or someone who is bigger and badder and more well-protected/represented.

This is looking south on college from the corner of 11th and college.
This is the corner she was supposed to have walked to then turned right to walk south down to smallwood.......to the right and farther on down would be the alley and the boys apartment i think.

Question for the old timers: is there a Crystal Grubb thread on WS?

I was able to find Jill Behrman's thread using google, but not Crystal's.

TIA and sorry if I am just being web-impaired tonight.

:o

This one i am posting again.
But larger so everyone can see that where the keys were found
there is a sidewalk there between the railing and the gravel.
So the ones whom found those items may had thought they belong to someone in the apartment there. And simply laid them there in-case they did belong to someone in the apartment.
Just speculating though.

I would like to know what evidence ( probably something we don't know) convinces the Spierer's this was not an abduction.
