Is George lying?

I have an issue with this ex wife going on Dr Drew. We have known about her for at least a year or more. You can bet the SA knows about her too. I don't think she is on the witness list. We would have known about her. iirc, in the released docs I dont think her name was mentioned, just the fact that GA was previously married. I think this info came from CA during her depo with the state.

Just another one in a long line looking for 15 minutes of fame.

Snipped by me. I thought there were numerous pings recorded from cell phone calls made from ICA's phone? Calls she made from Hopespring drive on the 16th? If I am recalling this correctly, it proves that ICA did come home after storming out and that GA is not lying when he says he saw them on the 16th. Am I recalling the pings incorrectly?

FWIW..Just because her cell phone pinged in the area of Hopespring Dr. does not prove that she and Caylee were in the house on Hopespring Drive. Some have speculated that ICA and Caylee might have spent the night in the car....JMO.

On his show tonight, Dr. Drew stated that he spoke to GA's ex-wife who claims that GA had a lying problem when they were married.
She feels it might be genetic and was passed down to KC.

GA's been lying for a long time.

As much as I have tried to talk myself out of it, I do believe George has told a lie, a major one in this case.

A few people are puzzled as to how George could remember what Casey and Caylee were wearing the last morning he saw them leave the house. Well, it's easy, cause I believe George made up that story. There was no Casey and Caylee getting up, eating breakfast and going off to work with George carrying Caylee to the car.

I think there was a big fight, which turned physical, between Cindy and Casey Father's Day evening after Cindy returned from visiting her father and being with her mother. The fight I think was over Casey stealing again from Cindy's parents. This made Cindy furious at Casey mainly because I see Cindy as being very concerned about what others think of her as a mother.

I think Casey took Caylee and left the home after there was very hurtfull and threatening words between them that night. Possibly Casey with Caylee spent the night at Lee's place. As usual, Casey returned to the house once she knew George and Cindy had gone to work.

It was her calls to her parents where she didn't get a response that day that made her even more furious at them. She wanted to be with Tony. They had made a date for that evening and to spend the day together the following day. She needed a babysitter and was determined not to cancel.
That's when I think Caylee lost her life.

George's reason for lying about seeing Casey and Caylee leave that day was because he did not want officials to know about the terrible fight between Cindy and Casey. He did not want them to know Casey left the home in the state she was in.

This lie is something that both Cindy and Lee have had to cover George for. I really doubt I am wrong about this part of George's story of when he last saw Caylee.

His versions of how thrilled he was over Casey's pregnancy and his testimony of the last day he says he saw Caylee and Casey sounded very weaved to me. JMO

That is what I thought too at first. But apparently the searches for escort services were mixed in with searches for employment in security positions and
other George related computer things.

I also thought Casey considered being an escort - she was young, pretty and ... how shall we say ...giving it away for free to anyone. But, after reading about Casey, I don't think she was call girl material -- just wouldn't put up with some guy giving her orders; being pleasant to sleazebags; ugly guys; disgusting stuff, etc.

Just didn't have the personality for the job.

I did NOT hear him say anything at all about the ex-wife having nothing else but good things to say about George other than that. Wonder how I missed that?

He did say the wife had said good things about GA other than the lying, but it was later in the show, I think during his viewer questions segment.

I believe that the circumstantial evidence points to Casey's guilt and the theory the prosecution has presented. I still have a slight doubt that Casey only is involved. I don't understand why the prosecution didn't call Roy Kronk and have him testify to what he saw. He said he kicked the skull, yet the prosecution maintains it was partially embedded in sludge. I thought I read he said he kicked the trash bag and the skull rolled out. How easy for them to prove that the duct tape was wrapped around the skull as they presented in the video, than for Roy Kronk to testify to it.

No. The biggest reason for me is this: I don't have any problem at all imagining that ICA is entirely capable of doing this, that she had the opportunity of doing it, and that the prosecution has shown that she alone was involved in the act. I'm not buying accomplices of any kind. She is a proven liar. What more is necessary?

no way Jose---ICA did it all on her own. George doesn't have the temperment to be involved at all. Plus I think he is the only Anthony whose testimony has ever been truthful.. I think he didn't call LE at the car impound because the trunk didn't have a body in it and he was so thankful about that he felt everything was going to be OK. I don't think he ever dreamed that only Caylee would be dead and not Casey and Cayleetogether. I honestly suspect he felt Casey would be in the trunk. Her lifestyle would obviously put her at more risk than a 2 yr old child!!!!

Not me. Even with all his faults--and there are many!--I believe George dearly loved Caylee. If he had pulled her from the pool I believe neighbors far and wide would have heard him screaming. He would never have covered this up; there is no reason for that, for one thing. George would never in a million years have dumped Caylee's body in the trash or allowed anyone else to do so.

Casey is responsible for Caylee's death, the disposal, and the cover-up. I do not think Casey loved Caylee as I do not think Casey is capable of love. She is immature and appears sociopathic to me. I believe Casey was jealous of any attention Caylee got from her family or anyone else. Casey alone did away with this baby.

I reread what Kronk said about 'kicking the skull.' In reality he said that the bag was over the top of the skull, so when he kicked it, the bag came off. So the skull did NOT roll out, the bag came off and revealed the skull.

And NO, George had nothing to do with this evil, ugly mess. It has Casey written all over it, imo.

I don't like GA, I think he is a weak man who allowed himself to be manipulated and ruled by bullying women... Do I think GA is capable of hiding a body for his daughter - yes. Do I think he could hide Caylee's body for his daughter - no. I think his intentions were honest all along, but CA thinks she is the brains of the operation and runs the show. I don't believe he could have done that to his granddaughter and NOT cracked under questioning.
