But
it was their plan; since at least October of 2022.
Since 2020, I've been working in position as a Planner (affectionately called a 'Planimal' here) at an Army Headquarters. I've previously worked this at a Joint HQ. Military planning is very complicated - and is known as an artform. My position within the Planning Team deals with munitions, fueling, replenishment of such, it's convoy transport of such etc. How much do we need, what types for what purpose, it's causes and effects etc.
We all work tgether as a Planning Team all the time - we simply don't work on our own so are not unaware of any other part of the plan. This terrorist attack of 7 October 2023 was very well-planned ... and executed. It did not happen last minute. It did not happen without extensive military planning and intelligence (INT/Intel) to back it up. The PLAN is dated October 2022 (because they dropped a copy of it which was recovered in Israel on 7 October). Prior to even being able to PUBLISH tht plan in October 2022, the INT would have had to have been gathered for use by the planners. The INT they used included detailed maps of each settlement, who and how many people lived in each house, which houses had 'IDF reservists (ie: weapons in the house), who and how many security at each settlement and where they lived, how long for the IDF to reach that location and how many of them would be available to respond amongst a whole bunch of other stuff.
They published in October 2022, which means they had those required INT details well before that date. I suspect that in the future inquirey we will find out that they had some human sources (HUMINT) feeding them details they needed as to housing, timing and numbers - most likely from Gazan Workers who had permits to work and travel in Israel proper.
I suspect the subject of the story above is trying to walk-back and downplay his culpability in compiling, drafting and issuing plans that clearly denote war crimes are within "the plan". You know, should he be captured and actually face trial for war crimes. He's trying to blame people that weren't in Gaza and that this happened at the last minute!! ... people that didn't gather the INT and work the plans? It went over way too well, and in accrodance with their plans, for
that to have been the case.
He didn't "know"?? LMAO IMO, - from one planner to another- I call el toro poo poo.
We have been sent a 14-page operational document that was obtained from one of the units in the field, that was inspecting Hamas bodies found in a toyata pickup truck. Note. This document is dated October 2022, and is labeled "Top Secret."
We cannot explain the significance of the date at this point.

A two-minute propaganda video posted to social media by Hamas on September 12 shows fighters using explosives to blast through a replica of the border gate.

- The documents indicate that Hamas set out from the start to target not just military installations, but to attack civilian population centres and to take hostages, and they offer evidence of the scale of Hamas’s intelligence-gathering and the degree of planning for the assault.
- “They knew exactly what the targets were going to be,’” WSJ quoted Michael Milshtein, a former Israeli military intelligence officer and head of Palestinian Studies Forum at Tel Aviv University, as saying. “There is nothing close to this level of planning in any steps Hamas had done in the past.”
- One 14-page document labelled “top secret” in Arabic and dated June 15, 2023, describes a plan for infiltrating Mefalsim, a small collective community called a kibbutz, near Gaza and taking residents hostage.
- Two teams of five and a commander would carry out the operation on “Hour S, Day Y,” it reads. Maps and aerial pictures of the town were contained in the document, which says there were 1,000 “civilians” guarded by a volunteer security force.
Reports have surfaced indicating that Hamas terrorists possessed detailed maps of multiple locations in Israel, including military bases, signifying the extensive strategic preparation behind the assault. These maps not only pinpointed targets but also indicated tactical weaknesses in Israel's...

The Wall Street Journal exposes the existence of detailed maps depicting occupied cities and the military bases of the occupying forces. These maps, along with operational plans, were found among the possessions of the fallen members of the Qassam Brigades.

Here's a great video on Military Planning that touches on what planning entails and just how in-depth it is.
Just found this one from Ryan MacBeth who is a very well OSINT analyser (ex-military) giving a run down on the recovered 7 Ocotober 2023 Hamas Plans:
